I am singer, songwriter, and musician.
My Self-Summary
To be honest, it's very hard to talk about myself without talking
about my family and friends. I love being an aunt to my 9 year old
niece. My parents are role models for a happy marriage for 41
years. I had a brief marriage which was annulled, and I look at
that experience as a lesson learned. I grew from it, and have
become a strong, independent woman.
I love to laugh. I enjoy walking and riding bicycles. I love going
into NYC to see a play, concert, shop or just walk around with my
friends.
I love to travel – went to Italy, Germany & Austria in 2005
(First time out of the country) and want to go back. Need to see
Greece and Rome before I die.
My Favorite Quotes say a lot about who I am:
"When a door closes, we often look so longingly back at it, that we
don’t see a new one has opened."
"And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's
the life in your years." (Abraham Lincoln)
"Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." (Albert
Einstein)
"People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and
courageously. This is how character is built." (Eleanor
Roosevelt)
"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."
(John Lennon)
What I’m doing with my life
I am a songwriter and musician. I just starting getting back into
the music scene doing open mics, and am getting ready to go into
the studio to record an album.
I had been active in the music ministry in my parish as well as
youth ministry. And although I have a bachelor's degree, I recently
went back to college for a Certification in Youth Ministry and am
contemplating a Masters or a Teaching Certificate. I love working
with kids - especially teenagers.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at a lot of things: Music: writing, playing piano,
guitar & bass; singing - especially harmonies. Aside from
music, I'm a relatively good competative miniature golf and pool
player, and used to be pretty good at Bowling....so watch out. And
just got the Wii - loving the Tennis, Bowling and Baseball. And
cards, well... Texas Hold-Em is a favorite.
I'm a quick learner - so whatever you want to try, I'm up for a
challenge.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes or my smile. I think they're equally beautiful.

The six things I could never do without
1) My guitar
2) My Blackberry
3) My laptop
4) My best friend Michele
5) The relationship I have with my only niece
6) My faith
I spend a lot of time thinking about
1. What can I write about next. I try to write for at least 10
minutes a day - trying to reflect on things in the past, or what
happened that day. Sometimes they remain journal entries. Sometimes
they evolve into poems. Sometimes I turn them into complete songs -
lyrics and music.
2. I think about the kids in the youth group in my church. I worry
about them. I try to be the person they can turn to in times of
crisis - someone they can trust and who won't judge them
On a typical Friday night I am
out with friends listening to live music somewhere
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I was married for less than a year - though we dated 3 and a half
years. I ended the marriage with divorce, and then an annulment
with the Catholic church. It was a very traumatic experience - but
I've learned alot about myself, specifically, that I am a strong
person and deserve to be loved and treated well by my significant
other.
