My self-summary
I really really enjoy reading and listening to Carl Sagan, Barbara Ehrenreich, Peter Boghossian, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Gloria Steinam, Stephen Colbert and John Stewart, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, Lewis Black, Ricky Gervais, John Irving, A.C. Grayling, Nicholas D Kristof, Chuck Klosterman, Ayan Hirsi Ali, Russ Kick, Nick Hornby and Barack Obama. I really need to seek out more female authors.

Im a European mutt and Ive lived on both coasts. but most of my life has been unwound in Seattle and Yakima with quality time spent in Philadelphia and New Hampshire. Ive been to New York more than Ive been to LA.

I grew up spending half my time on a few hundred acres of apple orchards and a dead end suburban cul-de-sac (yes im aware thats redundant).

I have a record collection, a bookshelf, a great table, one plant, netflix and a view. A bed, a couple end tables, some personal memorabilia and way too many t-shirts fill up my bedroom. there now you know everything.

I hope you care about humanity and its philosophy, science, music, artistic expression, sports, politics, laws, health and its egg cheese and avocado sandwichs... I care about them too. too much im told sometimes. look, we have stuff in common and we should celebrate all of them. you like shoulder massages?! me too! but im really interested in what we dont have in common. you can produce life from within your own body? how does that make you feel? Ill always be interested in how you feel. you spent a lot of time in another culture? how does it affect how you see modern american culture? You have an opinion about military interventions in middle eastern and northern African countries? how does that influence your opinion of the President? of congress? Youve studied multiple religions with an open mind? How does that frame religion as a whole to you? please talk to me about anything except reality celebrities, modern american straight white christian suburban "normality", pop country music, fast food, the NBA, self tanning, wedding registries at target, "yolo", the DJ sets at Coachella, normative gender rules... well, actually Id love to talk ABOUT these topics but i could never force myself to care about these topics. you know what I mean?
What I’m doing with my life
As little harm as possible while enjoying the mysteries of existence. Also: working in healthcare, listening to records and reading books, watching and playing soccer, not calling my mom or brother enough, cooking breakfast, fighting for a more matriarchal society and not least of all "the same thing I do every night, Pinky, try to take over the world."
I’m really good at
Reading into actions, over reacting, judging, reminding you to call your mom, calling out bullshit, debating the problems of a more religiously inclined conservative right wing of the republican party and that something needs to be done to stifle its growth and eventually kill it off for the benefit of our societies growth.

Oh wait, this is a dating site. I mean im really good at carrying a conversation, listening, planning, foreplay, opening doors and jars, staying in contact and being open and honest with my feelings. Really.

listening to music. stop rolling your eyes.
The first things people usually notice about me
how tight my affliction shirts fit.

no, not really.

The six things I could never do without
My life, your life, her life, his life and its life. Boobs.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how small we are. we live on a speck of dust suspended on a sunbeam. a pale blue dot if you will... consider it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing laundry, cleaning, reading or...

...getting out of town. I hope you like that too. I love seattle, washington. It will always be my home but to fully appreciate your own existence, you have to understand others outside of it. I try to keep my sociological imagination as sharp as I can. That takes traveling, which I havnt done enough of.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
that I have a better butt than you.
