My self-summary

I am a 21 year old student going to the University of Richmond. I am majoring in Pyschology with a concentration in neuroscience, minoring in French and biology, and I plan to go to dental school. Yea, it sounds a little all over the place, but I just studied what I liked and that is how it ended up. I am lookin forward to my future but I love my life right now. My friends and family are incredibly important to me, I don't know what I would do without them. I always believe the best in people, even when they prove me wrong.

Life is all about the little things. That really good cup of coffee. Laughing with friends over nothing. A glass of champagne. A good book on a rainy day. Waking up to snow falling. Finding a great pair of jeans. Hearing my favorite song on the radio. Going out to a good party. Dancing for no reason at all. Having someone call just to say hello. The Mets. Traveling someplace new. Laying on the beach. Going on a boat. Correct grammar. Going to the ballet. Seeing a really good sunset.

What I'm doing with my life

Right now I am working on getting through school and having a good time while doing it. I will be graduating in May and will be taking a couple of years off from school to work for a little while, then going to dental school.

I'm really good at

Cooking, especially baking. Thinking logically. Pointing out the flaws in someone else's argument. Ballet. Being really neat when I want to be.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I am always in the middle of at least three books at once. It is impossible to name all of my favorites. Some of them are: Little Women, Harry Potter, Catch-22, The Glass Menagerie (basically anything by Tennessee Williams), The Sword of Truth series, The Great Gatsby, The Catcher in the Rye, A Walk to Remember, They Cage the Animals at Night, Girl with a Pearl Earing (and anything else by Tracy Chevalier), Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, God Bless You Dr. Kevorkian, The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat.

Some of my favorite movies are: Dirty Dancing, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, The Princess Bride, Dogma, The Breakfast Club, Breakfast at Tiffanys, Gone With the Wind, Rear Window, Chocolat, Catch Me If You Can, Finding Neverland, Peter Pan, Moulin Rouge.

I like pretty much all music except country which I absolutely cannot stand. Some of my favorite bands are: Metallica, Sugarcult, The Ramones, Guns N' Roses, Bob Dylan, Riddlin Kids, Anberlin, Allister, The Beatles, Dashboard Confessional, Hidden in Plain View, Alanis Morisette, Josh Groban, Patent Pending, Nirvana, Fiona Apple.
