Some people say I'm an old man in a young man's body. I enjoy scotch, I prefer a hardcover book, and have no patience for drama. After creating this profile, I've discovered I'm much more liberal minded than I previously gave myself credit for.

I like to think a carefree attitude towards life and its little inconveniences promotes a far better way of enjoying it. I am passionate about my favorite teams and my family and close friends. I believe loyalty and devotion to those you care about goes without saying. My sense of humor is not politically correct because what's funny isn't. I was a poli-sci major and always flip to the world section when reading the newspaper and like talking about current events.

Working towards death or retirement, whichever comes first.

On a serious note, I'm working towards building a career at the same time as trying to figure out what I really want to do with my life.

Writing profiles

I'm a history nerd, most of my books are about things from Ancient Rome to WWII. There are a few fiction books thrown in there (World War Z is great), but if you have any good recommendations I'd love to hear them.

My favorite movies are comedies, ranging from Old School to Pink Panther movies. I also love a good horror flick - scaring the crap out of myself with "It" at a young age started it all. TV shows: South Park (they always hit the nail on the head), The Simpsons, The Walking Dead (I've been on a zombie kick lately and am prepared for the apocalypse).

Led Zeppelin is my favorite band, but I've always been open to all kinds and love going to shows. I've recently gotten into bluegrass, and want to go to Jazz Fest.

I love to cook, and always want to learn more. Being part Italian, that's naturally right up there. Also, steak if the picture didn't give it away.
