My self-summary
I'm a young Montrealer who just embarked on a new adventure here in San Francisco, and I'm not sure what to expect of the rest! I would love to find someone I connect with who could show me around this great city.

This is actually kind of sudden, as I never expected to move here until a recruiter from the area contacted me for a job opportunity... At that time I felt like I was ready for some big changes in my life.

I don't know how that experience is going to end, but I got a feeling i can only go great. So, I'm waiting for life to surprise me with the next thing!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a software consultant who still has difficulty coming to grasp with the idea of having one specialized career going in one direction... I like to have fun, people tell me I have a good sense of humor ( as long as you don't mind sarcasm :P)

Other than that, I enjoy spending my time with friends, although these days I meet them more online than not. I'm slowly rebuilding my network of friends... The town is so alive, it's fun living the thrill of exploring a new city and discovering new things to do!

I have lots of hobbies, but they come by waves... I've been into board games, poker, I've been in an ensemble, I play piano and I love to sing in karaokes! I have a strong musical side.

I still like spending time alone watching some TV series or movies... Though those moments are more enjoyable when spent with the right person!
I’m really good at
Watching out for others. Just recently I changed my plans for a friend who was feeling down, so we went on a road trip around the city.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile I think? I'm usually the guy with the good humor, somewhat talkative, particularly in groups. I like to think my wit and my incredible intelligence are also noticed, but no one ever confirmed that...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies : Fight Club, Matrix, Pulp Fiction, Moulin Rouge, The Last Samurai, Requiem for a dream, Pay it forward, Amélie Poulain...

TV shows : I'm currently realizing all the shows I've really enjoyed in the past few years are ending and it makes me so sad! How I Met Your Mother, 30 Rock, The Office, Dexter, Breaking Bad... I guess I should get into Game of Thrones after all this! Oh, and I keep a very strong nostalgia for the TV shows of my childhood!

Music : I love very different styles of music, I can go from Madonna and Rihanna to Ratatat, Daft Punk and then Chopin. My favorite Band is probably Muse (their concerts are simply amazing!) I really wish I'd find more musical groups that sounds like them... On the other hand, I discovered electronic music in the last few years and it's really where I would more easily define myself ultimately. I'm really open to everything, and I love to discover new music.

Food : I love sushi! I love italian food too! I wish I'd eat indian food more often... Of course, my mom's food, so Moroccan food ;)
The six things I could never do without
- The recurring thoughts of how my traumatic childhood destroyed any chance I could have at happiness (not true.)

- Long socks. I bought short socks recently and I every time I wear them I feel like my body is *freezing*

- Fisherman's friend. Whenever I get a cough this is the only thing that gets me through. (Yes I wore short socks and blame them for my cough, aren't you insightful!)

- Washers and dryers. Once you have no more clean socks, they're a great way to get your dirty ones clean again! (I sense a theme!)

- A calculator to be able to count accurately to six.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What's the next step. I mean ok I'm here in SF, doing the usual stuff people do and then having a bit of free time but like, what do I do? How could I change my routine and use my time to make my life awesome! You know?
On a typical Friday night I am
Out Kayaking in parts of the world I've never been before! And then sometimes it's dinner and a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm good at everything. Which makes it very hard for me to relate to your earthly concerns. But my humbleness helps me dissimulate it pretty well.
