Well let's see... basically I'm a pretty easy going and laid back
kind of person. I'm happy going outside to travel, camp, hike or go
play in the many lakes and rivers around here. I scuba dive, but
haven't in ages and just recently learned to snowboard. I'm also
happy relaxing around the house whether it be reading, writing,
being a nerd on my computer or watching movies.
I'm honest and loyal to the people in my life, friends and family.
I'm a shy person and sometimes i let that get the best of me. Just
need to have a little patience, i really do open up once i'm past
that initial phase. I can have a silly sense of humour )humour is a
good thing( and have two insanely cute shih-tzu dogs. Seriously,
next time, I'm getting ugly shih-tzu. Then they won't be able to
get away with half the stuff they do already.
Basically i just like to have fun no matter what i'm doing and who
i'm with. I'm always open to trying new things since it never hurts
to broaden one's horizons. Even though i might joke around about
not being interested (a bad habit of mine).

My self-summary
What I'm doing with my life
Not really what i want to be doing, but it's better than nothing.
Working at a job that's paying the bills and allowing me to do the
fun things i like. I'm also trying to work on some personal
projects like getting back into my 3D animation and creating a game on
the computer (i did say i geek out on the computer heh, but don't
forget the earlier statement that i do love to get out and travel).
I'm really good at
Scuba diving and falling down on a snowboard. I'm really good at
that last part. I'm also good at going backwards down hills on
ATVs, being launched into the air with the faint hope that maybe
gravity will forget me, or at least be kind and give me a soft
reentry... and breaking collarbones. Though I've only done the
latter once... and i actually plan to keep it that way. Hmm...
strangely enough, i seem pretty good at hurting myself. Odd.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me
Well, if they are coming over to my place, either my insanely huge
DVD collection or a VHS tape labeled 'Poopy'. Why they zero in on
that, i have no idea... it's really the bloopers for a great show
called Mystery Science Theater

So the geek side of me likes reading fantasy medieval and sci-fi.
Stuff by authors like William Gibson, Rudy Rucker, Richard K. Morgan,
David
Eddings, Raymond E Feist, Robert Asprin and
even William
Shatner (for his Tek series).
I'm pretty much the same when it comes to movies and i have an insane DVD collection (did i mention that before?). My tastes run a long the lines of sci-fi, action, crazy kung fu movies (Ong Bak / Kung Fu Hustle anyone?) and comedies. I do like a few horror movies, though most of them tend to be humourous to some degree... intentionally. Some of the directors i really dig are Michael Mann, Ridley Scott, John Woo, Peter Jackson, James Cameron, David Twothy and M. Night Shyamalan. Some of my absolutely favourite movies are Big Trouble in Little China, Evil Dead 2, Dead Alive, Serenity (and the TV show Firefly), Buckaroo Banzai, Galaxy Quest, Brazil, Heat, and too many more since i've probably taken up enough space talking about entertainment stuff.
I don't look like the kind of person that would listen to what i do, but i really like music of the industrial and electronic (psytrance, IDM, goa) persuasion. I can usually ramble off 10 bands and most people would be scratching their head. So if anything, you'll be exposed to a new genre of music heh.
Lastly is foods... which i like. Chinese, Italian, Greek/Mediterranean.... yum.
