Baking, not cooking. You can bake brownies at 2 am, but what a silly time to prepare dinner.
Staying entertained. I intend to get around to getting bored some day.
Somehow they know something I said is probably funny, if only they could figure out why.
I usually listen to music when I drive. My ipod holds everything and it stays on random. I get to hear everything I've collected. The Cure don't get skipped. Others include 10,000 Maniacs, Toad The Wet Sprocket, They Might Be Giants, Sarah McLachlan, No Dobut, Natalie Merchant, Natalie Imbruglia, Manic Street Preachers, Lili Haydn, Le Tigre, Josie & The Pussycats soundtrack (I can't help it), The Doors, Cranberries.
Food:
Mexican, chicken with mole sauce or mole on anything is a good meal.
Italian, lasagna and chicken parmigiana.
Indian, curries over rice.
Most anything my mom makes, of course.
Books:
I mostly read fantasy and science fiction. Favorites include the works of Guy Gavrial Kay, Isaac Asimov, Steven Brust, Stephen Donaldson, Robert Heinlien, Steve Perry, Philip K. Dick, Mercedes Lackey, Anne McCaffrey, Ursula Le Guin and George R.R. Martin.
Movies:
Anything featuring John Cusack is a good start. The first Highlander. Run Lola Run. Nicolas Cage films, except the bad ones. Go. Empire Strikes Back. Wrath of Khan. The Dark Knight. Léon. Stripes, because it was the first R rated movie I saw. The Princess Bride.
My friends: Haven't been around as long as parents, but they picked me.
Stacks of books to read next: Bookstores depend on me.
My computer: It would be so much harder to stay in touch.
New Socks: Never underestimate the value of warm feet.
