I love the rain and unlike most people in San Diego really like being in it (driving in it as well!) for what ever reason its very relaxing to me. I'm generally a pretty quiet person, a little on the shy side as well but I tend to warm up pretty quickly to people once I've gotten to know them a bit.

I'm a bit of a music nerd; I have have been told I have weird taste in music on more than one occasion. (What, a guy can't enjoy psychedelic Hungarian folk rock? haha) I love live music and go fairly frequently with my friends to The Casbah, Che Cafe and various bars around San Diego. Even the occasional out of town trip if the artist is good enough for the drive.

I'm a huge animal lover, I have a Siamese cat and love the little jerk to death. I'm the kind of person that rescues any animal I find that is trapped, be it a baby lizard that has wondered into the house or a spider trapped in the bath tub, so you can say I'm a bit of a softie at heart.

Figuring out how things work mechanically. I attribute this to constantly taking things apart when I was little and watching and helping my dad when he fixed things or worked on our cars or whatever projects he had going.

Apparently my eyes, I get a lot of compliments on how bright and blue they are. Thinking about it now, I'm now really confused as to why my drivers license says they are hazel!

Favorite books: So many to choose from: Arthur C. Clarke, Poul Anderson, anything that pushes back the boundaries a bit.

Favorite movies: Star Wars / The Abyss / Alien / Full Metal Jacket / Sunshine / Amelie / 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea / American History X / Idiocracy.

Favorite music: Isis / Godspeed you! Black Emperor / Ravi Shankar / GrimSkunk / Vágtázó Halottkémek / Grails / Lightning Bolt / Juno Reactor / Jamiroquai / Beck / Tam Quam Tabula Rasa / Immovable Objects / Alpinestars / Stephen Brodsy / Troum / The Young Gods / Gordon Lightfoot / Boris / Sunn O))) / Boards of Canada / Daft Punk / Everlovely Lightningheart / Cave-In / Gorillaz / :zoviet*france: / and many more. My tastes are all over the place, calming ambient music, noise rock, classical, folk, I like a little of everything.

Favorite food: I have a wide ranging palate - I cook all the time, and am always ready to try new cuisine. Right now I'm experimenting with Asian foods. I've yet to find a food I didn't like... except jellyfish salad, forget that!

My thought process is a bit random, there are deep thoughts going on in there somewhere though...

Either out watching a band with friends or just chilling at home with a good movie, or book.

I still watch cartoons. I've watched Spongebob from the start and I'll be damned if I'm gonna let a little thing like growing up stop me from enjoying something that's genuinely funny just because I'm outside of the intended audience.
