Enjoys the mixture of pessimism and optimism that comes from the study of diversity, race issues, sexuality, and the changing trends of civilization. Minor media junkie, with a need for nuance and answers. Me and cognitive dissonance are good friends.
Its only when you know something, that you can grasp how you know nothing.
Political junkie, who reads from places such as Slate, New York
Times, Scienceblogs, and listens to NPR. My politics are a
bit confusing and subject to change though, and I always am willing to hear if I am wrong.
I am a nonbeliever/athiest, but I mellowed out a bit over the years and am not overly confrontational about it (but I am well informed, so beware if you want to debate). I have been friends with Christians, Muslims, Satanists, and Pagans among others though, so don't worry much about it.
The stage and I have a special place together, I have acted in a few classics such as the Scottish Play, Romeo and Juliet, etc
(never in a major role, but still). I am quite good at public
speech-making, have done Improvisational comedy briefly in a group, and yet still get terrified each time I step up to it.
Avid gamer, mostly on my PC (made it myself), but also do D&D
and Warhammer 40k on the tabletop. I play a few other things on and off such as BESM, Terra Incognita, VTM. All games are better with friends though.
Try talking politics or nerdy at me, and you'll generally have my
attention, if its not obvious.
