My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I don't usually prefer to try describing myself for someone. Without trying seem complicated, I don't think this little box is apt for putting people into. I tend to think most people haven't had the opportunity to truly get to know themselves, due to the demands of life and the lack of opportunities, in many cases. Some may be lucky enough to know, but even someone who has had the chance, could have only discovered that they have gotten lost in all of the possibilities for themselves and still feel they don't know who they are.

Aside from the aforementioned ideas, all too often, people tend to present themselves to impress everyone else and hide their less desirable qualities. I would rather people form their own opinion, without me putting in my two cents. After all, they will anyway. If person "A" has no conflicting opinion about with how person "B" views themselves, in advance, I think it is easier for them to accept each other, even if they discover that they don't see eye to eye, later on. Besides, we need something to talk about , right ?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At this point I am starting my life over at after a failed marriage. I have a young son and I work full time. I engage in a few hobbies that aren't overly ambitious and try to spend my time relaxing. Life is too short to spend stressed out all of the time. I have enrolled for school, to start next spring. I want to change careers while I am still young enough.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Considering the subjectivity of this question and the potential answers, I will decline anything specific for the most part. I could be viewed as arrogant, should I give my opinion of certain specifics. In fact, I might impress you with my words and let you down in person. I don't want that for either of us.

After all, what is the definition, for being really good at something ? I would rather you get to know me and form your own opinion. I have been searching within myself all of my life, for a talent that I feel is world class, that I should pour myself into. So far, I haven't found it. Perhaps I am only good at being average. While it is a tough pill to swallow in certain regards, it is humbling and I think humility is necessary for a person to be a good person. I guess I will work on being a good person, since I have a choice and a chance to.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am tall. I am 6' 3'', barefooted. I think a lot. Other than that, I am not sure. I find quite often, people don't come right out and tell you what they think of you, without provocation. I tend to be introverted and don't form many close relationships. So if anyone generally feels the need to tell me what they think of me, it usually is negative. It doesn't happen very often though.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

BOOKS:
I have to laugh at my first few statements before I make them. I enjoy writing more than reading. I guess it is because, I am opinionated, as some might say or as I would rather view it, I am a perfectionist where I feel it is feasibly applicable. I suppose it could even be construed that I would prefer to speak and not listen. Laughing out loud now. I won't deny feeling that way occasionally. How should I feel, if I don't want to forget what I had to say, that I thought was pertinent to a conversation ? If I have you concerned, at least at this point, I hope you will realize my honesty and that I am aware of my tendencies also. Anyone who acknowledges a potential complication or problem, is someone who you can at least try to work with. So for these and a few other reasons, I don't read many books. It isn't how I prefer to spend my time. I am a movie person.

MOVIES:
Amistad, The Man in the Iron Mask, 300, BraveHeart, The Count of Monte Cristo ( Jim Caviezel version ), Cinderella Man, The Ghost and the Darkness, Gladiator, Fast & Furious series, The Illusionist, The Jerk, The Karate Kid series, The Kingdom of Heaven, The Last Samurai, The Legend of Bagger Vance, The Lord of the Rings series, The Notebook, The Vow, One Night with the King, The Pianist, Schindler's List, The Patriot, The Shawshank Redemption, The Star Wars series, The Time Traveler's Wife, The Twilight Series, The Underworld Series, "V" for Vendetta, The Wolfman, Ben-Hur

As a general statement, I tend to like dramas, suspense, mysteries, some action and comedy movies. I have seen many movies that I have appreciated in some form or another, over the years.

TV:
I don't watch much TV. I will watch sporting events including: All Ohio State football games, some O.S.U. basketball games, some NBA playoffs and Finals games ( Miami Heat fan), Some NFL playoffs and perhaps the Superbowl. I however don't necessarily. It all depends on who is playing and what I have going on. I also will watch M.M.A. or boxing occasionally. I have seen most animal and science shows, I don't find them very interesting anymore, though I like both really well. I don't particularly like reality TV shows at all, talk shows or soaps. I enjoy movie drama, not drama queens. I do occasionally watch a TV series I find interesting. I have enjoyed Seinfeld, Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones, and True Blood most recently.

MUSIC:
I am rather eclectic in my musical tastes. I don't completely understand why. I am still trying to figure it out. As a musician, I think it deals mainly with substance, especially lyrically. I still don't completely understand why I prefer certain rhythms or harmonies. I like many songs from various forms of music. I like some blues, some jazz, some classical, some rock, some country, some hip-hop, some R & B , seriously, a bit of everything.
I tend to like individual songs more than bands. Some bands I still like more than others overall. One band I hold in higher regard than most is Pink Floyd. I like a lot of Lifehouse songs too.

FOOD:
I keep basically a kosher diet. Not in the strictest sense of legalism, but If it says don't eat it in the Bible, I don't. Otherwise, I like many things. I love Mexican food in particular. I like to cook and grill out. I enjoy baking sometimes and even dabble in wine making.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This is my answer from a realistic point of view. I couldn't do without God, my son Benjamin, food, shelter, clothing, intellectual pursuits.

Now I am going to answer this from a angle that I really think the site designer intended, considering it is commonly understood we have to have certain things to live. These are things I could technically survive without, but it wouldn't be much of a life in my opinion. Those things are my son, a significant other I can share mutual love with, a rewarding occupation, goals, hobbies, and peace.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If you can name it, I have probably either spent quite a bit of time thinking about it, or I still do and perhaps additional things that never interested you. Considering I generally don't get caught up in the affairs of other people, it leaves me free to focus on and learn things in general or more specific things I prefer about a particular subject(s).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wore out. I am an electrician. I work hard and my job is often stressful. However, if you are willing to invest in me, I am willing to rest later and even lose sleep for you. ;-)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It is anything, to the right person, at the right time. Until then, you'll have settle for asking and perhaps I can accommodate your desires.
