My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.

I am not your average person, I never have been, and I'm not the person I was ten years ago, and I'm sure in ten more years I'll be someone else again.

I am a spiritual person who is not a Christian. I spend a bit of time with this, including meditation. I attend Ahava Center for Spiritual Living, it's a great place to meet open minded people and hear a non judgemental uplifting message.

I am also breaking into the healing arts. I have studied Reiki and Theta Healing, Theta is what I'm really into, I studied Reiki hoping it would enhance Theta healing sessions, and now I often do it both at the same time. Sorry, I guess you have no idea what Theta Healing is, there is a web site on it, and apparently I'm the only one around Lexington into it. Maybe you don't know Reiki either, that's ok, but at least there are other Reiki practioners around.

Good conversation is a must for me. I hope you are good at talking and listening. I believe I am good at both as well.

I really like to have fun. But I honestly think I define fun in a different way than most. The only sport I watch is tennis, and there is so much with the tennis channel that I often fast forward to 4-4 in the first set and then start watching it - and maybe just skip it if it's not that good.

I also really like playing games though I've mostly been doing that alone lately. It would sure be nice to find someone to play Backgammon with or maybe Super Scrabble. I can even dream I'll meet 2-3 people to play Dominion with.

And here's a list of interests...

reading, meditation, sungazing, music, tennis, bike riding, backgammon, scrabble, dominion, law of attraction, astrology, Texas Hold'em poker, good conversation, jigsaw puzzles

My new favorite book is Seth Speaks by Jane Roberts. I wish I could find some people who have read it and tried some of the things in it. Like Biphasic sleep, or expanding your consciousness. I'm reading it for the second time now.

Honestly, I am in a cycle of reading Seth Speaks, some fluff, The Seth Material, some fluff, then repeat. Some of the fluff is great too, just not as hard to understand as Seth or I wouldn't call it fluff. Zero Limits was awesome and now I'm reading The Magic of Findhorn which a great friend of mine lent me.

I have read lots of fiction in my life, some favorite authors have been Orson Scott Card, H.P. Lovecraft, Dan Harris, Kurt Vonnegut, Nancy Kress, L Ron Hubbard (old funny sci-fi). I just can't seem to read it anymore, though I got through a couple Lovecraft stories lately.

My favorite movies are more likely to be independent. Or maybe they are just wickedly funny, as in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I must admit, most people have seen way more movies than I have seen.

As for TV, I would rather listen to music than watch it. Still, it's nice sometimes. My cats wish I'd watch it more. I had DirectTV for a while and only seem to watch tennis, now I ditched it and hope to find some comedy to watch soon.

I love music. I download "this and that" radio from to find new stuff. I love because of all the underground stuff they have. My newest playlist additions are mostly RnB/Soul/Funk, Post-Punk, Psychedelic stuff (recent and old), and Sludge/Doom/Death Metal.

As for food, I am a great cook and I like to eat a variety of food. I just made some awesome flat meat "balls". So I'm am changing a pattern of salad and chicken to salad and beef/pork. I am hoping to be able to do more soon.
