My self-summary

I am not your average person, I never have been, and I'm not the person I was ten years ago, and I'm sure in ten more years I'll be someone else again.

I am a spiritual person who is not a Christian. I spend a bit of time with this, including meditation. I attend Ahava Center for Spiritual Living, it's a great place to meet open minded people and hear a non judgemental uplifting message.

I am also breaking into the healing arts. I have studied Reiki and Theta Healing, Theta is what I'm really into, I studied Reiki hoping it would enhance Theta healing sessions. Sorry, I guess you have no idea what Theta Healing is, there is a web site on it, and apparently I'm the only one around Lexington into it. Maybe you don't know Reiki either, that's ok, but at least there are other Reiki practioners around. Sorry, haven't hit massage school yet, might not, it's crazy expensive.

Good conversation is a must for me. I hope you are good at talking and listening. I believe I am good at both as well.

I really like to have fun. And one way I really like to do that is playing games. I used to do that every Wednesday with the Board Game meetup group, but I have been taking a class that night lately. About 20 women in that class, no men at all. Hey guys, you want to meet women? Try to go to a new age meetup group or class.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to feel good all the time.

Enjoying what this physical realm has to offer.

Becoming more psychic.

I’m really good at
Baking bread.

Finding the bright side of situations.

Pairing colors together.
The first things people usually notice about me
My beautiful brown eyes.

Or maybe that I look younger than I am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My new favorite book is Seth Speak by Jane Roberts. I wish I could find some people who have read it and tried some of the things in it. Like Biphasic sleep, or expanding your consciousness.

My last favorite book is called "Ask and it is Given" by Esther and Jerry Hicks. It is my "bible". It is mostly about the law of attraction although it covers life and death issues as well. I would way love it if you read that too.

I have read lots of fiction in my life, some favorite authors have been Orson Scott Card, H.P. Lovecraft, Dan Harris, Kurt Vonnegut, Nancy Kress, L Ron Hubbard (old funny sci-fi).

My favorite movies are more likely to be independent. Or maybe they are just wickedly funny, as in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I must admit, most people have seen way more movies than I have seen.

As for TV, I would rather listen to music than watch it. Still, it's nice sometimes. My cats wish I'd watch it more. I have way too many cooking shows on my DVR and even though I am quite a tennis fan I haven't gotten around to finishing the US Open yet. So don't tell me who won.

I love music. It's a big passion in my life. Lately I've been listening to this "socially acceptable" music playlist I've been putting together. Got about 900 songs so far, mostly classic rock, and getting to be more R&B (well, they call it that, some really just sounds like classic rock), some old psychedelic stuff (Why hadn't I heard Captain Beyond or Nektar before??) I actually found some NEW music I like. I think it's from the last few years, maybe even less old than that. But to tell the truth, the new stuff I like reminds me of the old stuff I like. Sometimes I hear a rather new song I'd swear was from the 60's.

As for food, I am a great cook and I like to eat a variety of food. I like to go out to eat sometimes, but I like to cook at home more often. When I do go out, it's either convenience (bummer) or to have something that's just hard to get at home. I do tend to like this a bit spicy though, and I'm a big fan of onions in general, and Korean chili paste.
The six things I could never do without
Good conversation
Music I love
The beauty of the first and last light of day
Tasty food
Things to smile about.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I am bringing into my life.

Hey, so are you, whether you are aware of it or not.
On a typical Friday night I am
Pursuing my interests, which happen to be reading, meditation, sungazing, music, tennis, bike riding, backgammon, scrabble, dominion, law of attraction, astrology, Texas Hold'em poker, good conversation, jigsaw puzzles, cooking, hiking in beautiful places, nature photography, pinochle, lapidary, to name a few.

Honestly, it varies, but I hope I'm not in a bar. The energy in most bars is too dismal.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm the organizer of a psychic meetup group, where we work to improve our skills.

And another Law of Attraction Esther Hicks group which has dismally few members...
