My self-summary Propose an edit

On a daily basis I am doing something with music. Whether it is listening to music, going to concerts, playing the piano or singing; I am constantly involved with something musical. I don´t watch a lot of TV, but when I do I will put on a sports game. On the subject of sports, I also enjoy getting outside and being active. Some of these activities include: basketball, football, softball, roller-blading, dancing, bowling, camping, fishing, soccer, swimming, and volleyball. Now that the weather is nice, I would love to go out and hang at the park to throw a football around (I have a fairly good spiral). For fun, I like going to a bookstore and reading books and magazines, specifically ones about computers, technology and website building. It´s a nice thing to do in the mornings on weekends when life has settled down. I really enjoy traveling (both in the United States and abroad), playing board and card games (Canasta is an amazing game, if you´ve never played), going to the theatre (especially seeing Shakespeare or a comedy) and going to comedy clubs. I think it is important to have a variety of things you like to do. Even an evening of playing in a park at night is a lot of fun. As we get older, there is a great need to seem mature, but it´s nice to enjoy simpler things too.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

For the past four years, I have been a college student. Just recently I graduated and plan on being a special education teacher this year. I am lucky enough to have found something that I am passionate about and that makes me want to get up and go to work every morning, and I am sure you´ll hear many hilarious stories about it once you get to know me better (and see why one of my virtues is my patience). I was born in South Carolina and have moved around a lot as a child. From this, I have become a very open-minded, spontaneous person who is self-motivated and responsible. I have fun every day and have a very optimistic look on things that happen in my life. I believe that it is important to learn from everything and to have fun and be happy while doing it. Moving around has also made me passionate about a lot of things and has given me a love of debating.

I'm really good at Propose an edit

I'm pretty good at singing. Well, it's the only thing I could think of that I do better than all my friends and family. When I was in high school I was in some really good choirs and did a lot of competitions. Now, I just sing along to every song on the radio.

The first thing that people notice about me is probably the percentage of time that I am smiling. It almost never stops and I am pretty much laughing at something all the time.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Books: Shakespeare, Redwall Series, Harry Potter Series, and many others. Just read "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" and it was really good.
Movies: The Shawshank Redemption, hands down. Then all those other great movies like Boondock Saints (just watched it last night), Italian Job, Oceans 11, Fight Club, Kill Bill, Office Space.. (this could go on forever).
Food: Mexican, sushi and wings (with cheese fries).

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit

2. I know this isn't a "thing" but.. respect. I think it's important for people to respect others and respect me for the things I have accomplished.

How I'm going to organize the millions of songs and pictures I have on my computer.

And.. how much fun those moving walkways are at the airport! Come on, they're amazing.. I wish you could walk on those all the way across the U.S. How much fun would that be?

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Tired from working long days. Sometimes that means staying home and watching a game. Sometimes it's going out to eat and see a movie. Other times it means I'm going out on the town and having a good time with my friends.
