Music is a very big thing to me. I listen to a very wide variety,
from death and thrash metal, to accoustic/indie, to hardcore, and even some pop (mostly if
i'm in a dancing
mood), and most things in-between. I can't stand overly standard
country music. I very much want to learn how to play music, but
can't figured out how to learn. I probably just need to get a
teacher. I have an Accoustic Guitar and a Bass. Can't play either
yet.
I LOVE to travel,
even if its just within canada. New places and experiences make
life a lot more interesting. I plan on doing a lot more travelling
in the next few years. I practice Kendo on a fairly regular basis. I enjoy
going out dancing
(i may not know how to dance, but i do anyways) with friends, and
having movie/drinking nights with people at home, and going to
shows throughout the city. I'm usually up for random adventures,
whether it be playing soccer at 1 am in the legislature yard, or
just going with what the night brings.
I'm a nerd, and i am comfortable with that. I read fantasy novels,
play video games (not very much anymore), and I am a sucker for
comic book, fantasy and medieval movies.

My favourite book series is A Song Of Ice And Fire, by George R. R.
Martin. David Eddings' Belgariad is pretty good too. I do love Fear
And Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S Thompson. Also enjoyed
American Psycho (Books are always better than movies).
Movie wise i like Fight Club, Into The Wild, American History X, American Psycho, Garden State, Boondock Saints, Dazed And Confused, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Sweeney Todd, Superbad, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, and many, many more.
The only TV Shows i like are The Venture Bros, Heroes, True Blood, The Big Bang Theory, and Scrubs. I think thats it, but this is probably hampered by the fact that i dont have cable or anything....
Music wise i lisen to Opeth (they can do no wrong), Rocky Votolato, Every Time I Die, Comeback Kid, Cancer Bats, Damien Rice, Against Me!, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Strapping Young Lad/Devin Townsend, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, The Real McKenzies, The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Haunted, Tom Waits, and many more, but this list got excessive quick.
I love Sushi, Steak, Indian Food, pretty much anything ethnic is awesome. I'm willing to try anything once. Not a huge fan of oysters/clams, though...

On a typical Friday night I am
At various local bars either dancing or watching bands, or hanging
with friends having a few, maybe at a pub having a good ol' time,
or maybe i'm just at home with friends watching movies. It changes
all the time, as ones social life tends to. Generally my social
life is pretty much the same as any other person's.
