My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love science fiction otherwise known as sci-fi. I write, read (the 1632/Assiti Shards series by Eric Flint and others is one of my favorites, as well as the old Wild Cards anthology), and watch shows like Stargate - all of them, all the Star Trek series except Voyager, the new Battlestar Galactica and the prequel, Caprica, Chuck, Firefly, Sliders, all series of Doctor Who and Torchwood, Heroes, 7 Days, Warehouse 13, Eureka, Babylon 5, Fringe, Merlin, and many others.

I attend DragonCon in Atlanta every year, and I love to cook, give backrubs, and a few other items too naughty to mention in polite company.

I. Wear. Kilts. Deal with it. :)

So, again, I see my profile completed percentage drop. I'm now down to 20%. When I first filled out my profile, I was at 90%, without a picture. I'm expecting to log in one day and find that it's 0% complete, at which point all my words, here, will have collapsed into a quantum singularity, and will power the planet forever freely.

Oh, yes- for those who blow gaskets at the notion of *GASP!* casual sex on my profile...grow up. We're all adults, here, and I'm listed as single. I'm allowed, if I like someone, and they like me, to find out where it goes. It might just be one of the few freedoms we have left, here in the US- we should enjoy them while we still have them.

I am thoughtful, sensual, and obdurate
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm also living one day at a time, trying to make more sense of my personal life than before.

My divorce was final in mid-2009.

Also, it's amicable, and friendly, and we're looking out for the well-being of our son as a top priority.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fixing computers, RPGs, cooking inventively, body rubs, selling (never knew this until recently), nibbling fingertips and more.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm fat. As in, about 250 lbs., at 5'10", with an ideal weight of 173. Do I work on it? Not in ways that diminish my quality of life- that really would be pointless over the long term. Apparently, my voice has qualities that are unknown to me- I still don't hear it, myself. My eyes, which change colors with my moods.

(a) Anything by Peter David, Keith R. A. DeCandido, most Star Trek, the Wild Cards series, edited by George R. R. Martin, anything by Martin Caidin, the 1632 series, and yes, I actually enjoy technical manuals. (b) Star Trek: The Wrath Of Khan is the best space battle movie, EVER. Indiana Jones deserved his doctorate, Better Off Dead taught the world about snow and French lessons, Office Space is real, hundreds of thousands of us poor bastards live it every day at work, The Princess Bride may possibly have been the best movie ever for both one-liners and monologues. (c) Amazingly, I like modern bands as much as older bands, but Steve Miller Band, BTO, Yes, selected Kansas, most Rush, much of The Eagles, great heaping amounts of The Foo Fighters, Steely Dan, one-hit wonders like Gerry Rafferty and Gary Wright make a radio station that much more listenable for me. (d) Lasagne, though I must make it homemade, due to an allergy to onions, a good well-done beef or pork steak, a batch of chili not designed to destroy my insides with alkaloids, beef with broccoli, made by a local Thai place that actually bothers to COOK the broccoli until it's tender before serving it (hate "steamed" veggies- if I wanted crunchy, I'd eat it raw).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
(1) The internet. (2) Computers. (3) Tasty food. Otherwise, what's the point? (4) Books. (5) TV I like. (6) My soul, tarnished as it is.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Going back in time into my younger self, and imagining the changes I'd make, using the information I have now. A dear friend of mine has a lot of trouble with the term "BBW", and I think I agree with her. Too much fetishism associated with it.

Frankly, your body type doesn't concern me. I enjoy all physiotypes, as each seems to have its delights for me. Let's play.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Once again, slaving at gainful employment.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There's such a thing as privacy on OKC?

I have a FetLife profile. Ask if curious.

I'm polyamorous-positive.
