My self-summary
I have often debated between two headlines: 1. "Literate, Considerate, and Naughty Just a Li'l Bit" and 2. "Sassy, Classy with just a touch of Nasty" Both so fun...and so me. The sweet contradictions that make me interesting... Sassy. I'm quick to rise to a challenge... whether it's landing a deal at work or chatting up the stranger sitting next to me in 4A. I've been told I have a quick wit and an even quicker temper. However, the latter cools off, and the smoldering is good for both of us *wink* Literate. Please. I was an English major and still to this day can recite the Canterbury Tales Prologue. In OLD ENGLISH. Classy. I enjoy the theater and the opera and am working at appreciating the symphony (no guarantees there *sigh*). I know how to choose a nice bottle of wine to go with our trailer park dinner *s* Naughty? Nasty?'s just a touch...:)
What I’m doing with my life
I have spent most my life traveling...for work and fun. I worked as an executive at a software company and my Customers were all over the globe. I've just relocated from Dallas to Seattle for a new job. That I love. Now, I have a quiet life on Tiger Mountain and travel mostly for joy...vaca and visits home. I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed and going into an office like a "normal" gal. However, I've been ExecPlat on AA for years. If you don't know how flight attendants determine what order to serve in first class, we may not be a good match!
I’m really good at
...first dates. Seriously. I love the "get to know you." I grew up in Sales and have made a living at conversing with strangers. I also do a wicked good Lois from "Family Guy". I'm just sayin'...
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. And, they should! I adore my hair dresser and believe you get what you pay for. It's a great head of hair! And my eyes...a crazy gold hazel color. If only I had spider lashes to go with them...sigh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Fav book? Hmmmm...I often use the name Dagny as my "bar name". So if you catch the reference, send me a note. I'll be impressed.

Shows? Well, there's the obvious great series...Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Orange is the New Black, the Brady Bunch...;) But, I also have a thing for the typical "guy shows": Family Guy, Archer, The League, Tosh 2.0...are some of my fav's. Watching them post-sex is THE BEST THING EVER.
The six things I could never do without
This might take a bit of time to complete. I cannot simply rattle these off the top of my head. So, I'll add to the list as I think of it.
1. Air conditioning (selected when I lived in Dallas... Wondering if it'll stay on the list here in the PNW)
2. Foie Gras. Stupid California.
3. eBooks. Yes, I miss holding a real book. The smell of books. Blah blah blah. But, really! I can travel with a zillion books in my coach bag?!? REALLY? I love the 21st century!
4. My pup, Izzie. I feel badly for not listing her first. But, honestly, I thought of foie gras before her. Don't tell her.
5. My girlfriends. I'd die for them. They ground me. They love me unconditionally. They are few, but they are spectacular.
6. Statuses. American ExecPlat. American Express Platinum. Starwood Platinum. It counts, people. It really matters when I travel. (AGAIN, I wonder if this crap will make the cut after a few months of living here and not traveling).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Right now? This very moment? I'm thinking about a whisky. Neat. With a sidecar of rocks. Sigh. It's a joy.

Oh, and quantum computing. Cannot get enough. Two states AT THE SAME TIME?!?! Are you kidding me? It's sh*t like that that makes me love mankind. THEN I sit behind him at the movie theater and I want to erase all mankind from the planet.
On a typical Friday night I am
Waiting for my car at DFW....(said when I lived there). Now....
Honestly, I'm usually pouring myself a drink, settling into lounge wear, and turning on Netflix. I simply haven't made friends yet. Sheesh. That sounds sad. Yet, I do love the quiet on Tiger Mountain.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a closet fan of both Barry Manilow and SciFi. Right? I know...they have nothing in common with the exception that I love them both. Privately. I fracking love them! (If you caught the BSG reference, we must chat. Smart smart programming.)
You should message me if
Who am I looking for? It's simple. I'm looking for someone who: doesn't need mothering unless they have a fever; doesn't expect me to be a size 8 ever again; loves to laugh more than cry; begins to jones for a bookstore fix even with his iPad in hand; doesn't think sex anyplace other than the bed is kinky; can handle the English language as well as he handles me; and finds the symphony as boring as I do. Interested?

UPDATE: If you are under the age of 35 OR in a relationship, please do not message me. I am a "mature" woman who cannot be bothered with either of those attributes. Thanks!
