For the most part I never read novels, I like to learn from what I
read. The topics I love are alternative health,
politics/philosophy, history, economics and for awhile I was
reading some psychology (mostly MBTI
I like good movies. Does anyone actually care enough that it's
actually worth me listing my favorites? Is this really what people
choose their potential mates based on? What a sad thing that this
is what people look for rather than actual character traits.
Arrested Development is the funniest show of all time. I choose my
potential mates based on if they like this show or not (it's a sign
Again, do you really want me to write a long list of band names? Is
that what's going to "woo" you. Is that how I'm supposed to stand
out from the crowd. I'll tell you that my favorite instrument is
the violin. That's all you get.
My diet is considered extreme by many people. But I consider
"extreme" to be entirely relative to where you are standing. People
on a sinking ship compare themselves to those around themselves and
insist that they are not sinking. But from the nearby island the
ship and everyone on it is clearly going down. The American diet is
that sinking ship, and I'm watching from my island while everyone
tells me I'm too "extreme" and that I should jump on board and
enjoy the revelry, after all you've got to live a little. My island
may look a little dull by comparison for now but when everyone else
is drowning in a nursing home I'll still be on the beach, walking
around an everything. But no doubt the passengers will all look
back and say "I'm sure glad I ate that ho-ho, it made it all worth
while, I truly lived a full life."
I'm on the paleo diet. I don't eat sugar, HFCS, chemicals, bread or
pasta or any grains. I eat large amounts of protein, and as much
fat as I please. Fruit and fresh veggies often. Love grapefruit and
pineapple, satisfies a sweet tooth better than any candy bar.
Basically if it's real I eat it, if it's not I don't. I know that's
a pretty "extreme" idea. But as extreme as my diet may sound I am
still not at my destination, health is more of a direction than a
place to find as perfect health is an unacheiveable goal. I'm
fascinated by health and nutrition and am constantly going to be
growing and learning more.
