My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an aspiring freelance costume designer. I'm very, very geeky.

I'm all over the internet (under another name) and do a lot of things at conventions and in fan communities. I love drawing and sewing as well as writing and role playing.

And, yes, I promise you I'm genetically female. I've recently come to terms with the fact that I'm 'genderqueer', meaning that I'm not really any of the above. I'm sticking with being a woman because I like it lots. I'll just be a dude/chick from now 'till ever, which is cool by me.

I'm also actively choosing to be single at the moment. It isn't so much that I'm not into love, its that I'm a crappy girlfriend. Seriously. I don't have the time or priorities to be a good girlfriend at the moment.

I am geeky, fanish, and busy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently a dresser at Disneyland. My ultimate goal is to design costumes professionally.

Besides that, I'm a regular convention-going cosplayer. I do a lot of things online and spend a lot of time talking to my friends.

When I'm not working on sewing-related things, I read comics (a lot of them) and watch TV.

I also do stuff like play games, both on my computer and on my XBox360. I love technology, and I can hardly resist shiny new tech.

I can also hardly resist shiny new costumes/fabric/props. I also adore historical/cultural research for costume projects. I've done a lot of military research for misc. shows/costumes and am fascinated by all of that.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Costumes. I never thought I would be, but sewing and costumes have become a big deal for me. Design and construction are my passion.

I play a lot of games as well. I'd like to think I'm pretty good at that as well. Lately, I've been focusing on my XBox 360 when it comes to gaming platforms. The majority of what I have for my PC is either dated or not really something one would profess to be 'good at' (ie the Sims).

I also have a very organized comics collection.

Writing, drawing, photography, photoshop, talking, teaching, computers, triva. The list goes on and on.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm imposing. I have no idea why. I've been told many times over that I have an imposing presence.

A lot of people never get past that. I thought that it would have gone away after a while, but people still seem to feel that way about me. I'm not offended or hurt by it, which is probably a bit insensitive, but hey, I think its sorta interesting that I'm daunting on first encounter.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My computer, food, drawing, music, tv, torchwood
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Fandom. I spend huge portions of my day thinking about fandom. One might call me a fanatic (as in addicted to being a fan).

I spend a lot of time in fan communities and working on fan art and the dreaded fan fiction. The majority of my love of fandom, however, can be seen in my love of cosplay.

Cosplay is a habitual process for me at this point. Most often, my cosplaying process begins well before any needle and thread touch fabric. I research like a madwoman and I'm always looking for new, strange details about fandoms that I love. I've recently upgraded my computing system to include Blu-ray. Why? Higher-res means more things to look at and obsess over. That's right. I'm one of 'those'.

Its okay, because I love it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working. No joke.

But if I'm not working, I'm out with friends or watching something at home with my best friend and my cat.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I role play, a lot.

And not your traditional PnP or whatever. No. Fandom-based role playing. More like an in character round-robin. It's fun.
