I'm a nice guy to the core, and every girl that hears that always responds with, "Yeah, that's what all of them say." I know that's what all of them say, but in my defense, I actually mean it ;) You'll never know unless you give me a chance though, right?

But, just because I'm nice doesn't mean I'm a doormat. I'm just nice. I will stand up for myself when I need to, but most people are surprised to learn that you can do that without being an ass ;P

I'm here more for potential friends than anything right now. I'm not in a relationship right now, but I'm being really hopeful with someone ;-)

I'm a firm believer in the importance of good friends over just about anything. The few really close friends I have are the most important people in my life and they all know I'd do absolutely anything for them.

I love the outdoors and to be active. I like to stay healthy, and when I can I enjoy working out. I also like to cook, read, write, play games (video and board), bike ride, run, walk, cuddle, watch movies, draw, sing, drive, dance, and any number of other random activities.

I want to meet someone who will treat me with the respect I deserve and who will put effort into the relationship. I'm tired of being the one who has to make everything work. I want to settle down and start a family when the time is right. I'm not afraid of commitment. In fact I love commitment. I don't play games with people, and appreciate it when they don't play them with me.

My past relationships, and attempted relationships, have jaded me a bit, but I'm always willing to try for the right person, and so that doesn't really play into the kind of person I am. I'm an optimistic person at heart and put my full effort into whatever I do, to make sure it has the best potential for a positive outcome.

Mostly I'm just trying to get, and keep, my life in order as much as possible. When I finally meet the right person and life moves in that direction, I want to know I'm in a position to support my family.
I'm also one of the managers at a local Goodwill Retail store, and moving my way up the chain at a reasonable clip :-D I enjoy my job, and it pays the bills, so that's good enough for me for now ;)

Track and Field- specifically hurdling. Listening. Back massages. I'm a half-decent artist according to people who see my pictures. I dunno... I like to think I'm pretty good at a lot of things :)

I guess a lot of people notice my eyes. I've been told several times I have very nice eyes.

Also my butt on occasion.

And I've also been told I should wear tank-tops more because it shows off my arms and shoulders ;-P Not sure if that counts as a 'first thing' people notice on me, but I thought I'd mention it anyway :-D

I think it depends on the person noticing me :D

The future, and where I might fit into it.

Usually out with my friends, at a bar or club, driving around, or bowling, or mini-golfing, etc. Or, just at home relaxing.

Friday is also my favorite night for ballroom dancing on the rare occasion when I get the chance.

I'm not a particularly private person, so if you're curious about anything specific just ask and I'll most likely tell.

You feel like trying to make a new friend. I'm not great about responding promptly all the time, but I do try.
