I'm an engineer. This means I have a very bad habit of talking math, disassembling electronic devices, and doing research to find out what I don't know. Mix this with a darker nature and... well... you have me I suppose. A touch misanthropic... o.k. quite a bit misanthropic. I tend to spend a good bit of time alone due to the friends I do have being on the scattered about the country and not within easy driving distance. Finding a new crew of people to hang with would be cool; though I would be content, more like ecstatic, to find just one girl with similar tastes and ideas as myself to spend time with.

I prefer the night to day, the mountains to the beach, cats to dogs, knives to guns, and the cold to the heat. As of this writing, I am re-watching Dead and Breakfast soon to be followed by Planet Terror. I love b-rated horror movies, well all horror movies really. Those and movies based on comics are the majority of my library.

Currently trying to get back in shape. Well actually succeeding. Used to think it was genetics, now I just think it was all the junk in my diet. Its amazing what you found out when you do the math on your daily intake.

I think, a lot. Though that seems to go against what American society teaches. So much easier to control a nation of sheep than free thinkers. This thinking habit probably comes from the amount of books I read. Stuff like Shakespeare, occult philosophy, children's books (if you haven't read Skulduggery Pleasent you owe it to yourself to read it), graphic novels, fantasy, horror, scifi, and of course H.P. Lovecraft.

I've never really been a big sports fan. So many other things I would rather be doing. Football is my least favorite, though I can at least watch it if I've got my laptop or something to help distract me. Though I can enjoy European football, guess it due to living in Germany for 3 years. As long as Chelsea loses I'm generally happy.

I would go to more metal shows, but loathe going alone except for special occasions/bands. Been going to Jaxx in Springfield ever since I was in high school and was thrilled when I ended up in a job where I'm within driving distance again.

Working as a test engineer. To me its extremely fun, how many jobs do you get paid to design and conduct tests with the purpose of breaking things! Currently acting as lead programmer in charge of developing the software for our TP85-8 test rig. The TP85 is a hydraulic air drive unit that is going on the new Boeing 747-8.

Fairly good at designing and building things. I had my Rock Band guitar for less than an hour and I already disassembled it and modified it to work better. Go figure... I get paid to do that. Always seem to have at least one design project on the table, be it an arcade controller with USB interface or possibly guitar modifications. Armouring. I make chainmaille on occasion, very relaxing while watching a movie. Being shy and having it unintentionally come off as menacing... [Being a 6'2" Celt-blooded individual does on random occasion have drawbacks, but not often :-)]

Hmmmm... possibly that I have a very dark aura. Though probably the rings on my fingers, stompy boots, and dark clothes. Such a loaded question, every individual sees what they want to first.

A fine blade, my laptop, my book collection, my movie collection, my family, and my rings.

Reality, the nature of reality, physics, algorithms, metaphysics, philosophy, existence, morality, suffering, justice, loyalty, the occult, and how not to think so much.

Generally trying to decide where to eat. Friday is one of the two days when I don't have to watch what I eat. After that possibly playing solo on Rock Band, watching a movie while armouring and having whiskey maybe. On very rare occasions when a buddy visits from out of town maybe go out and get a pint of Guinness at a pub.

What I'd like to be doing? Find the right girl who enjoys similar things and just enjoy each others company. Talking to dawn, other such absurdly romantic things.

I have a very dark sense of humor that only those who really know me ever hear. Ok, that's not so private really. But every time I watch The Nightmare Before Christmas I can't help but sing Jack's parts. I might enjoy that movie too much sometimes.

I dunno, maybe you shouldn't. But then again if you actually made it down here and like what you read maybe you should. I despise the perceived "rule" that guys have to make the first move and truly do like assertive women. I have a strong personality and would hope my other half would too.
