My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a very sweet , honest and calculated nerd. I like role-playing games, board games, and Nintendo. I've got an old love for horror and science fiction.
I do like to travel with friends, and lately I've started with "sports" again, meaning I run and cycle to loose that tiny bit of jelly belly. I enjoy music a lot, but I often find myself in silence, since it makes thinking a lot easier. I get distracted easily enough without music. Oh and I am concerned about politics, a lot. But only during election time, which in the Netherlands means: every other year.

I'm a chemistry student, for way too long now. This is because the physics side of chemistry interests me more. However, I'm still not at a stop. I'll get there eventually.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At the moment I've taken a fifth quarter to finish my intern-ship at the solar cells department of the university in Nijmegen. It's the most fun I've had during this study, so I think I'll be doing a lot more in the field of solar cells in the future. My study is still a full-time job, so I've got only the evenings and weekends to bother about.
I've got a small group of friends to play Dungeons and Dragons with, once every two weeks. And a big set of friends to play boardgames with, every once in a "Hey it's been too long for us to play [insert game]". Other days consist mainly of having a drink or a bite with friends. sometimes in big groups, sometimes one-on-one.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
But don't be fooled, that's mostly just because I rock.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My messy hair and my sleepy, unshaven face (not a nice beard or anything, just a patchy dirty hobo look and not even in a hipster way).
But none of that is present while on a date or being at a party, so don't you worry.
In the cold days, I wear fancy sweaters and a nice long coat (it helps me to keep track of my shaving, btw). People ask me every year again about the same clothes if the are new. It's really peculiar. I believe my sloppy lifestyle during the summer confuses the people.

Talking about interaction: it would be that I tend to over analyse everything and that I am a bit more quite in company than others.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm not that much of a reader, always stuck to non-realistic fiction. My latest books were The Hunger Games (part 1) and Bram Stokers' Dracula, which apparently is Gothic horror, with which I've learned I like Gothic horror as a genre.

For movies it's pretty much the same (sci-fi, horror and/or fantasy) enriched with comedy, expanded with action. I think Shaun of the Dead sums it up pretty good. But I'll take any Tim Burton or Quentin Tarantino film for a first date.

Series, see books. No that's not true. I'm watching White Collar now, while I'm a bit through with The Big Bang Theory. Oh but Futurama. Always Futurama. And Sherlock! Season three coming up!

In music I'm stuck with the old rock and roll from the mid-sixties. But with metalheads for friends I'm also very happy with whatever they put on.

Food? Rich-flavoured and high on calories. I've made people who disliked lasagne reconsider their opinion on (my) lasagne. Cooking is a skill better not wasted, but I hate to cook for one.

Internet! This section needs an internet entry. I have got xkcd, Order of the Stick and Cyanide and Hapiness in my bookmarks. When bored or in a I-should-be-doing-something-else-now-but-don't-want-to state, I spend my time on Kongregate or 9gag.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My horcruxes, people, uhm... phone wallet keys (I'm a 3-tapper apparently).
I believe this is the least interesting part of anyone's profile anyway.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The shortest route up the stairs at my university.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
In Rock Cafe Dollars! Or watching a PIRATED!!~! film on my tv which is also my computer screen. Both preferably with a friend and Belgium beers.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm so scared of the future. Will you hold my hand while going there?
