My self-summary
Well, what to say about myself?

First of all - I am not here to look for a partner - in truth, me registering here was a kind of mistake (I was simply taking some test and somehow managed to join the site). So if the only thing you want is to find a girl to date, look elsewhere, please.

And now:

I'm a 19 years old girl from Czech republic.
I have one older brother (which can get on my nerves quite often, really).
I wear glasses.(yeah, you really wouldn't guess that from my pictures here, eh? :D)
I have shoulder-lenght blond hair..
My eyes are brown with a slightly green shade in them.
My sense of humour is sometimes really warped.
I take pleasure in ironic quotes, stupid jokes, quoting of my favourite book-quotes and sarcastic remarks.
I think that being buried in a big pile of books is a good idea of a funeral.
I dislike abbreviations like "u" instead of "you", "ur" instead of "your" and so on. In this matter I really am starting to feel like a grammar nazi.
I also am quite pessimistic, no matter how cheerful I may look. Somehow I also have the talent to improve the mood of my friends. No idea how I'm doing it, tho.
I'm a dncer. Yes, you wouldn't really say that of me - but it's true, really.

By the way - if I write something what leaves you confused these days, please, blame it on the fact that I'm working under sun for several hours a day, so my brain is probably a bit boiled after it ;)

I am serious, intellingent, and original
What I’m doing with my life
I would say that I'm trying to live through it. Seriously. And I'm trying not to kill anyone while living my life. Life and let live forever. (but if you are going to annoy me, you better prepare for a meeting for a famed blunt object. Something like Minsc from Baldur's Gate 2 would say - "Evil, meet sword. Sword, meet eviiiil!" Although I would say annoying people instead of evil.)

However, the longer I live, the more I think that Solomon Short was right when he said: "The universe has its own cure for stupidity. Unfortunately, it doesn't always apply it."
I’m really good at
being pesssimistic about everything. And what I value the most - I'm able to raise my eyebrow and with stone expression say: "Fascinating." Just like Mr Spock.

Or I'm quite good in being serious or not showing my emotions. (well, being a half-Vulcan gives you this ability, eh...)

Or I'm quite good in being cynical.

And as strange as it may seem - I'm also good in listening to people. Although... they usually don't notice this and let themselves be fooled by my stoic facade. Only few people probably know the true Neferit. No idea what made them want to really discover what kind of person I am, eh.
The first things people usually notice about me
Well, people usually notice that I'm wearing glasses, am a blonde and that my expression is... hm... sometimes *too* serious. But quite surprisingly, people also notice that I know many, many jokes.

Also, I was told that I'm quite pretty. Obviously, that doesn't stop guys from fancying every girl but me. Kinda hilarious when they talk to me about how they should approach the object of their interest. Never ceases to amuse me.

Aaand - I guess that quite a few people notices that I really don't look like a dancer. But I am dancer :D
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books
I like sci-fi (especially by Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke (rest in peace, Arthur!)by brothers Strugackij and by David Gerrold) and fantasy (you know, the normal stuff - Robert Ervin Howard, Tolkien, Sprague de Camp, Lin Carter, Tolkien). Also adventure, such as books by František Flos, Karl May and many others. Although - I can read almost everything. Once I caught myself reading a telephone directory. Truly.

Movies
My favourite movies are for example LotR trilogy (no surprise here, eh?), original Dune, Pirates of the Carribean trilogy, First Wives Club, Lawrence of Arabia, most of the films with Terence Hill and Bud Spencer, all Vinnetou's films, Kingdom of Heavens, Snow White and happily ever after, Kolja, Clash of the Titans, all Star Trek movies, the older Star Wars (from the newer ones I really liked just the Hiddden Menace and many, many others.

Music
Music which rocks in my opinion is classical music, soundtracks (I prefer the ones with classical music) and some of the punk/rock/folk groups. The soundtrack of some anime series are also very good. I personally like InuYasha's, Princess Mononoke's and Pokémon's ones. I don't usually watch anime (I watched only several episodes of InuYasha and four series of Pokémon) but I like the music.

Food
When it comes to food, I'm able to eat almost everything. Although... I think that school canteen on my primary school has crippled my taste-buds.
The six things I could never do without
- my glasses (but on the other hand, I remember to read a wonderful quote about glasses somewhere - "Without my glasses I see world how it truly is - kinda blurry." Kinda true, if ya ask me.)
- chocolate
- music. I play violin and my singing is also quite decent (at least I was told so).
- dancing
- being serious. Yeah. Someone has to be at least sometimes the serious one :-)
- humour. Yeah, I know - it's possible to live without humour. But why?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The immortality of a bug. Or how much chocolate I could buy, if I won the lottery. Or how much could that book over there cost and if I could afford buying it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually exhausted after a loooong dancing lesson. But last few weeks I'm spending my Friday's evening with my friends in a nice café, sipping my Virgin Mandragora drink and chatting.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I guess that my view of human personality or culture is quite different from the people I know. Those people just don't seem to understand that not everyone is interested in *our* kind of culture.

And now the most sekrit thing evah (sorry about the way it's written - I simply couldn't resist :) ) - I'm singing in a shower. Oh noes!
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 22–46
  • Located anywhere
  • For new friends, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
- you want a penpal who has some brain in her head. Really. I may be a blonde but I can think quite well, thanks for asking.

- you can talk about something that has at least some sense in it. I strongly dislike senseless discussions.

- you have hobbies similar to mine.

- if you can write longer messages than "hi". I most probably won't respond to those. So if you want to chat with me, lets try to be more communicative, yes?
