Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Oh these self-summaries have got my name written all over
Not actually. Give me time.
And a crayon.
I am unapologetically nerdy.
Y'know, this kind of thing is a lot more interesting to talk about
on the fly isn't it? Really, if you want to know just ask. It's
more fun that way anyhow.
And for that matter...Aren't all of these questions a self-summary
anyway? I see your game...I'm leaving.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At the moment? Filling out an essay. Why?
I also get by as the almost least sexy photographer ever. Just
above commercial food picture taker. But right below those guys who
take the old timey saloon photos of you in a corset sitting on a
player piano. Going places. Meeting people. Getting in adventures.
That's my thing.
If I could have any job ever? Professional voice actor who also
happens to have written the great american novel.
I also have an absolute blast hosting pub trivia once a week.
Tuesday nights, come and say hi!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Pub Trivia. Like...really reallly good. You don't even know.
Also Teaching. Writing. Drawring. Forgetting things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think I'm a little too quiet when I first meet people. But I like
it that way. Makes me seem charming.
And I'm practically bursting with interestingness.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Just the first that come into my head for each category:
World War Z, Winnie the Pooh, Hitchhiker's Guide, Anything by Neil
Gaiman or Vonnegut. Patrick Rothfuss as well. And Harry Potter. And
I might know a thing or two about comics.
Ghostbusters, Love Actually, Sherlock Holmes, The Big Lebowski,
Casablanca. Zombieland. I've also got a thing for Animation. Not
just hipster b.s. either. Pixar is amazing. And The Iron Giant,
because "Superman". Although I'm afraid I can't watch the Iron
Giant with you. In the interest of preserving an illusion of
masculinity as long as possible.
And those random documentaries you find on Netflix.
DOCTOR WHO...is the greatest anything created by anything. And
Additionally: Mythbusters, Mitchell and Webb, Top Gear, Firefly,
Cowboy Bebop. MST3K.
Currently watching: Archer
And the New Cosmos! I love Niel DeGrasse Tyson just as much as I
love Carl Sagan. And Brian Cox too for that matter.
Does NPR count as music? It should. However, I default back to The
Current during "Talking Volumes" and the Daily Circuit. Don't get
all noble with me book snobs, you know you can't stand Kerri
Miller. I have a theory she just makes up half the things she talks
about and every guest is so uninterested in the topics she usually
covers that they don't bother calling her on it. I also love that
old, crazy, terribly recorded jazz. The kind they play on 88.5 at 2
in the morning.
...Like I said, first things to come to mind.
And I LOVE live Theatre, let's not forget that.
I really like to cook, particularly love baking. I won't really
bother saying much more.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The Internets. Teaching. Family...uhhh let's say books, a game or
Also wine. Lots of wine. In vino veritas.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Figuring out what to do with my Friday night. Then going to bed.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm afraid of fish.
I have never owned a polo shirt.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You wouldn't mind a guy who would go gay for Stephen Fry.
And seriously if you want to take me out for some Pub Trivia that
would be all kinds of banana-pancakes-awesome.
