I hate the cold.

I tend to make a lot of random animal sounds. It keeps me amused and sufficiently frustrates other people.

I like to cook and play Rockband. I watch the food channel entirely too much. Actually, I watch tv entirely too much. I'm trying to change that. TV really does rot your brain.

I can sit around and just think myself to death sometimes. I don't deal with boredom well, but I'm pretty happy sitting around doing nothing. Even nothing is something sometimes. I am always open to trying new things. I'm the type of person who will do something just to have a story to tell.

Last year I moved to California from Chicago, pretty much for the hell of it. Who knew things could be this hard?!? I do whatever work comes along. I work at a frozen yogurt shop. I am currently attending a local community college and trying to gain some semblance of direction.

Wow. What am I really good at....Not really sure. I can say that I am currently TRYING to get good at things: cooking, writing, maintaining sanity.

I smile a lot.

(A) Slaughterhouse Five, Any sort of odd, dark comics (Sandman, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, etc), Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance,Harry Potter, Anything by David Sedaris or Chuck Pahlaniuk,

(B) (Television shows ) Taboo (I love learning about people) Family Guy, Weird lifetime movies, Simpsons, Futurama, recently my guilty pleasures have included really bad competitive dating shows.."Rock of Love" "A shot at love" "I love New York"...stupid but entertaining.

(B) Waking Life, A Scanner Darkly, Harry Potter, Dogma, Clerks, Chasing Amy, Never Been Kissed (I am sad to say I have seen this movie more than any other), Transamerica, Pretty Woman (Shut up okay), Donnie Darko, Strangers with Candy, Fight Club, Transformers, Equilibrium, the Princess Brides, Meet the Robinsonsm, The Fifth Element (Bigbadaboom!).

(C) I'm not picky. I like anything that speaks to me. My favorite band is Tool. I love Zeppelin and Disturbed. I generally don't like most of the music on the radio as of late.

(D) I am a big fan of Pasta and Burritos. My favorite food is sushi. I also love love love Indian food.

Things I need to do, people (I like seeing how people behave, how they think, how they see, how they move), school, my future, dreams, whether I'm really awake, the world, widening gyres, self-improvement, Burning Man, crazy Beat poetry, how I plan to break out of the life I have created for myself (I know there's a secret door somewhere!!! I just have to find it)

Probably sitting in the house, although I am working on changing that.
