My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My high school art teacher called me a contradiction on a bookmark she gifted to me upon graduation. She not only meant to describe how I went from drawing tight, detailed little drawings to pictures with bigger broader strokes. She also wanted to say who I was personally.

For example, I think people think I am more serious than I always am.

I enjoy art, design, music, movies, politics, history, but kindness and humor interest me even more.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Like so many, I do design for a software company. Though not one of those North Face-clad transplants at one of the big names. I moved to Seattle after falling in love with the PNW when I was in the 6th grade. Did some school, struggled around for a bit, then carved out a career for myself. So I do pretty well now, and I credit chance way more than merit.

In August I'm getting a new camera that I've been saving for, and will be using it for projects I've planned with my friend. So I'm counting the weeks.

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Stories to tell and how.

How the universe was a still pond and entropy is a return to that stillness. You, I, the stars and planets are just ripples from a splash.

... Kidding. Real people don't think that.

You don't want to go on a date, you just want to hang out. And I don't mean "hang-out", as a veiled formality to knocking boots. I don't want to deal with any of that hyped-up nonsense. What I *do* want is to get out of the house with company. Which may include the following:

Aimless wandering, beer picnics (I added "beer" to sound cool), very long bike rides (in comfortable clothes not spandex), hikes, playing Space Engineers, doing your homework/reading/drawing/macramé while I draw/paint.
