I am honest to a fault, hysterically funny, and geekalicious.
My Self-Summary
I'm a funny, well-educated philistine looking for whole, available
dudes. Fellas. Gentlemen bastards.
I'm a big
video
gamer and consumer of all things
scifi,
fantasy, or
horror. Cardio addict and big reader,
too. Not much of a scenester.
I'm looking for more rather than less.
What I’m doing with my life
Baking it into a pie with the rest of the children I capture.
Seriously, this is a bit much responsibility for one box to
bear.
I work as a writer/editor/fictioneer. I live in the East Village.
I'm close with my parents back home in the midwest. I love my dog.
A lot. I believe in doublespacing after sentence stops. I'm looking
for the right guy to love.
Now that I boil it down to a handful of words it doesn't sound like
much of a life. But it is.
I’m really good at
Communicating, being evil, being good. Making you feel at home.
Protecting the people I love. Dead baby jokes. Inappropriate humor
of any kind, really. Being blunt about how I feel. Not holding
back. I can say both yes and no and mean it. I can fix your
computer, edit your vengeance email, and make you feel like the
king of freaking Siam while doing it. And getting what I want -
that should maybe have come first.
The first things people usually notice about me
my sense of humor, my baby face, by big booming voice... i think
that's what they notice, anyway.
I have been called the "Jessica Rabbit of bears." If you know what
that means, lemme know.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Music: tori, joanna newsom, coheed & cambria
TV: Anything scifi or sciency or well-written: BSG still sticks in
my mind.
Food: Omnivorous health nut, if that's possible. Try to stick to my
lean proteins and cruciferous greens, but i love food and will eat
absolutely anything, including what you're thinking of right now,
you freak.
The six things I could never do without
My dog
Books
Kombucha
Funny Funny Funny
Solitude
My parents
I spend a lot of time thinking about
anything and everything. i'm a think-too-mucher.
Alternatively, who answers this questions with the truth: "I think
about what to wear a lot. And why I don't like strawberry ice cream
even though I love strawberries. And how they make pants, and why
nobody figured out the button crotch earlier. Or why fingerprints
are swirly instead of crinkly like the rest of the skin on our
hands."
I mean, is that level of self-awareness really the sorta thing you
want to broadcast?
On a typical Friday night I am
either home enjoying the peace, chilling with friends. Parties
occasionally and bars more rarely.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm a great big beast of a guy with a beastly tender heart to love.
You should message me if
you like deep-voiced nerds, gamers, cubs, bears, whitebread
whiteboys, dragons, puppies, etc.
