My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a nerd. That's the over simplification of things, rather I'm a social introvert who spends his time playing video games, building computers, working and setting myself up for future success. Logical is the general direction I follow, although I can be rather spontaneous and do find enjoyment living in the moment.

I absolutely love a good sense of humour, and those who can take and make a joke, and enjoy having conversations with others about life and what direction they're going. I also enjoy learning; I like to be knowledgeable in conversations and understand what is being discussed. I'm here because I want to find someone who enjoys talking, and just spending time together. Most of my friends have moved from the city due to work or are on an counter-work schedule, resulting in my inability to do the things I love, and resulting in me being here today.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently I'm employed full time as a Systems Analyst. Depending on how I feel about my options moving up the corporate ladder, I may either continue the climb or, take some time to go independent and create something of my own!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Technology is kind of my big thing. I'm a hobby PC enthusiast and love building computers. I develop software for a living, so I like to think I'm pretty decent at that too! I used to play tennis and was pretty competent, although, unfortunately, I haven't found time to play it in quite some time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Stereotypical nerd, friendly, and someone who's willing to talk and sort things out. That and "enjoys discussing life". If you get a different impression, I'd love to know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
For books I'm down for anything comedy related. I love the works of Christopher Moore, but even a Pearls Before Swine comic strip will do! I always enjoy some more classic books to, such as LOTR and To Kill A Mockingbird.

My musical tastes range from indie to trance (with some electroswing in-between), such as MGMT, Electric Sharpe, Goldfish, Above & Beyond, Pheonix, Daft Punk, and Nine Inch Nails. Although honestly I'll listen to everything with the exception of crummy pop and country music.

TV wise I'm a huuuuuuuge fan of Futurama, The I.T. Crowd, and Adventure Time. I'll watch other animated and non animated shows but those three easily top the list.

In the movie department, I'm a huge fan of Studio Ghibli and Wes Anderson. On the other end of the spectrum, I love movies like Airplane!, Super Troopers, Cloudly With a Chance of Meatballs, Anchorman, Up, etc.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Ignoring the essentials defined for me to live:

Down time.
Internet.
Coffee.
Electronics.
Friend(s).
Car.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever I'm dealing with at the current moment. Living in the past is like dwelling on memories that I can't re-experience the same way (although sometimes it never hurts to take a trip down memory lane). As with the future I can only plan so much ahead of time before I begin to plot my life and leave no room to experience it!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging with friends, taking a nap, playing video games, and/or other such things. I haven't nailed myself down to a weekend routine.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Crohn's disease is a bummer (props if you get the pun involved).
