I am:: Reliable, faithful, loyal, honest (sometimes when I
shouldn’t be), independent, quiet, introverted, logical, straight
forward, somewhat geeky, 100% guaranteed no drama or head
games.
I'm a
paradox...I
love bad taste and high art. I'm solitary yet enjoy gatherings. I'm
quiet yet enjoy conversations. I'm very sexual yet very reserved.
I'm lonely yet very comfortable alone. You should be a paradox
too...they're fun and sexy! I dig
sarcasm. I can appreciate a night out as
much as a night alone. I enjoy nature , fresh air and riding my
bike, but I also like lounging about watching a movie or playing
some video games.
I dance like a madman and can spin in one place for a very long
time. I'm way too good at acting like a monkey. I am portable. I am
a force against all that is drama. I'm open minded yet still
somewhat sheltered (and therefore bored).
I am really bad at flirting. I'm very much NOT smooth, but can be
very sweet. I have thousands of CDs and will gladly burn you mixes.
I have never been called floppy, sour, impenetrable, necessary,
mythical, querulous, synthetic, undercooked, or widespread. The
apes have assured me that once they take over I will be one of the
few humans left alive.
I share a townhouse with friends. I don’t make a whole lot of money
but I am financially independent and stable. I do video editing for
a small company and generally like my job, though am not really
sure where I’ll be in 5 years. I have my own car & one cat
though I'm really a dog person, which is probably why she's very
dog-like.
I'm trying to teach myself to play guitar...it's going very slowly
at the moment.
Video/film editing,
dancing (don't get
too much practice with a partner though), analyzing, getting to the
point, cutting through the bullshit, making smoothies, suggesting
movies or music, splashing in the rain, board/card/video games,
petting my cat (no, I'm really serious, I'm really very good at
that).
If I happen to be out at a club, they probably notice me spinning
wildly on the dance floor first.
Other than that I have no idea...I'm never really sure how others
perceive me.

Potential, possibilities, what-ifs and quandaries.
Maybe at a club dancing.
Maybe seeing a movie.
Maybe playing poker with some friends.
Maybe at home by myself listening to music.
On a typical Saturday night I am usually here:
http://www.spellbound-dc.com/
I don't really have any deep, dark secrets...I'm pretty much an
open book.
I guess the best I can come up with is that in high school I was
really into professional wrestling & the singer
Meatloaf...seriously...
You feel compelled to.
I don’t really have a “type.” I’m not necessarily attracted to a
specific body type, hair color, etc. more than another. I need to
find someone attractive to enter a romantic relationship (who
doesn’t?) but “attractive” means different things for different
people. However, some personality traits I look for in others are
modesty, loyalty, independence and reliability.
Having your own car & being financially independent are also
BIG plusses.
My AIM screenname is vernvonvoid if you you're feeling
chatty...though I'm very rarely ever on there.
I'm pretty much up for talking to anyone and meeting nearly anyone,
so don't be shy. Actually, I find shyness slightly sexy, so maybe
you can be a little shy...just no need to hesitate to drop me a
line and tell me about yourself. I'm much more likely to respond to
actual messages than woos or icebreakers.
