I live in Vanves, in the suburbs of Paris, far far away (err..., wait, in fact 200 yards away from Paris ; and we have both a subway station and a train station, joy!). I work for a utility where I can enjoy a very technical (and somewhat creative) job. As a matter of fact, I am quite lucky: imagine this, sometimes, they send me abroad and I have to speak to people I don't know, in a foreign language (I mean English), while pointing at unintelligible powerpoint slides. Most of of the time, though, I listen to other people who point at their own cumbersome slides. They call it a conference.
Since I live near Paris, I sometimes take advantage of the numerous attractions of the City of Lights: restaurants, movies, theaters,... The best evenings, however, are dinners at home with friends and good bottles of wine. I also very often visit my family, which live in calmer places (people here call their place "la province" or "la campagne").
I also travel a lot and look forward to going to Italy and Greece when I meet my soulmate. :)
