Hello all my name's Pete

Well I am from “The Jersey Shore” (but I am nothing like a guido) and am moving out to Chi-town (am I allowed to say that?) area this summer to experience a new city.

I graduated with a degree in Government and Politics (my schools Political Science) and will eventually end up at law school (Got a 162 on the LSAT!) but I need another year off before I bunker down for the big jump into law school.

Well, hmm how would I summarize myself. Well I love writing/reading just as much as I love sports (baseball and both footballs). I am a big in reading news from around the world, I love knowing what is going on from the local stuff to worldwide happenings. I consider myself kinds, but at the same time I know I have my faults, flaws, and bad days.

I love experiencing new things. Going into college ½ of my HS class stayed in NJ and most people who did leave left in groups, I knew I wanted to go to the city and that’s what I did and I did it by myself.

College was great, joined a fraternity late in my College life (2nd semester soph year) and held a few important positions.

Oh and a biggie, I’m adopted.

And well that’s all I can think of right now.

Taking a well earned time of from school before starting my journey into law.
I’ve always loved the idea of Chicago and I’ve worked hard to be able to make the big jump of moving out here and am very excited.

I’m writing (I’m always writing) a book, poems almost daily, and beginning a blog to keep my writing abilities up to scratch

If it’s the summer than most likely the first things noticed are my two tattoos
In the winter with my shirt on my hair, whether it is a fauxhawk or just long and curly people have always loved it lol

I love movies. On the moving raiting/predicting website movielens.org I have rated just about 500 movies. I’ll watch at least 1 movie a week online.

On the boobtube I watch Sherlock, Elementary, Big Bang Theory, HIMYM, 2 Broke Girls, Happy Endings, Modern Family, Futurama, The Daily Show, Tosh.o and others I’’ feel bad for forgetting later and come back to add....New Girl!!

My favorite part of my room at home is my bookcase that is filled to the brim with the great literary works of all time (Sherlock Holmes, 20,000 Leagues, etc) modern hits (Steve Jobs, Harry Potter etc) historical fiction/non-fiction (Team of Rivals, Gods and Generals, Rising Tide etc) education books ranging from economics to history to law and of course a fair amount of short stories and poems
