My Notes edit
My self-summary
I am a die hard romantic, funny, a good listener, give good advice, serious, not so serious, laid back, easy going, career minded, adventurous, etc! I am shy at first, but I do open up when I get to know people better and start to feel more comfortable around them.
I love children. I have two nephews that I get a kick out of! I also have two dogs that are the best! We regularly go for walks or go out to the various dog parks. I would love to find someone who would be interested in them and to accompany me in our outings!
I'm into gaming. I used to only play on the PC, but now I mainly play on the PlayStation 3. I have the PS3, xbox 360 and Wii. If you ever find yourself online, look me up. I'm Reignman8874. I just recently got into PlayStation Home, so if your in there, send me a message.
I'm in my mid-thirties, but, believe me, I don't feel that way. I try to stay young at heart. I can be mature, but I also don't always act my age! Just when I need to! ;o)
What I'm doing with my life
I own my own home; that I love and am very proud of being able to accomplish! Owning a home means that there is always something to do around the house. It can keep my busy, but not too busy normally. It's an older home, but it's in very good shape.
Did I miss anything? If I did, let me know!
I'm really good at
Also helping others. I am very generous and love to help others. Weather it be donating to the Salvation Army, donating toys to Toys for Tots at Christmas, or just being there for my friends and family. I'm very fortunate to have the people around me that I do. Most of my friends I have known for a very long time. Some, all my life and some most of my life. Even the ones I've only known for a few years, I consider very good friends and are people I can count on. They can also count on me. They know they can come to me with anything. A question about their relationship, life or computers and I will be there to help!!!
I don't know what else to put here. There are a lot of things I am good at...and a lot of things I'm not. I compare myself to that saying...I know a lot about a little and a little about a lot!
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I don't really buy books too much. I buy the new J.K. books. Anything other than that I usually just pick up by chance. I bought "Born standing up" by Steve Martin because it was on display near the front of the page. And I also recently bought "Jokes my father never taught me" by Richard Pryor's daughter Rain. Both of them are some of my favorite comedians and they were very good and interesting books to read.
Also, looking at my bookcase, I have also read a couple books by James Bradley. "Flyboys" and "Flags of our Fathers". My grandfather was in WWII and was a POW. WWII books, movies, etc. have always interested me.
I read a lot of magazines. I subscribe to Popular Mechanics, Popular Science, Playboy (yes, I actually do read it for the articles...well, most of them. Some of them are a little boring. And I'll be honest, the girls don't hurt. But don't worry...the pages don't stick together!) and Maxim (I honestly didn't order this...they just started to show up in my mailbox with a years subscription! Scouts honor!).
Movies would be most action or comedy type movies. Some of my favorites are "The Princess Bride", "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", anything Monty Python, "Planes, Trains and Automobiles", "Dirty, Rotten Scoundrels", MST3K, etc.
I like most music. Mainly rock...anything but rap really. If you look at the shelf of all my CD's or my MP3's, you will find Aerosmith, Phil Collins, Nickelback, Billy Joel, Meatloaf, Kid Rock, Weird "Al" Yankovic, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, etc.
Food would be most of the unhealthy stuff. Steak, pasta, chicken fingers, anything greasy and bad for you. I don't like most vegetables. No tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms for me, thank you. I don't mind broccoli, cauliflower, corn, green beans and stuff though. My two all time favorite foods that I probably couldn't do without would be ice cream and macaroni & cheese.
The six things I could never do without

My dogs
