So, now I've reactivated this, let's rebuild this profile from the ground up.

I'm a gamer, a geek, a techie, a nerd, a superhero, and all the little things in between that I never knew I wanted to be as a kid. I've got good roommates, a new job, great dogs, a good house, and things just seem to be pretty well off okay.

I'm the kind of guy who goes above and beyond for people he meets, even when common sense says I shouldn't, so I sometimes get burned. Not that I will let that change me. I'm opinionated, affectionate, boisterous and kindhearted.

I am currently only two classes (one semester) away form Graduation in an English Degree, focusing on editing and technical writing.

I am just starting a brand new job, working for Disability Services at NAU.

Any sort of game, be it card, tabletop, board or video. I'm a skilled editor, and I am great at helping roommates and friends with their papers. I can open jars, reach tall shelves, carry heavy loads, push big boxes, and all those skills a proper adventurer needs if he's to get the key to the Boss' lair.

Books: Brian Lumley, Ender's Game, World War Z, "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" by Shirer, The Wolf's Hour, loads of others.

Movies: The Avengers (and the other Marvel bits), Robocop, Up, Wall-E. plenty of others. I also love cheesy pulp comics 90s/80s stuff, like Dick Tracy, Tank Girl, The Shadow and of course The Rocketeer. Lord of the Rings.

TV: Star Trek (All except Voyager), Doctor Who, Sherlock, The IT Crowd.

Music: 80s hair metal, early Jazz, nerdy stuff ala The Protomen or Miracle of Sound. The Ink Spots, Duke Ellington, Judas Priest, The Megas...

Food: Sushi, baked potatoes, peanut butter sandwiches, home made stir-fry. I like to cook!

How to accomplish all the "Want To Do" while battling the huge list of "Need to Do."

I almost never know what I'm doing on a Friday night before it starts. Drinking and carousing downtown? Sure! Friday Night Magic at the Geekery? Sure! Playing games at home or napping with my dogs? Why not!

I'm trying to grow my hair out longer, but am frustrated with its refusal to behave!
