My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Nick, which is short for Nickolas with K because my parents decided to make my life more difficult than it needed to be pretty early on. I spend a ridiculous amount of time daydreaming and I like to laugh as much as possible. I studied wildlife management and conservation in college and I got to work with wildlife in Africa. Some fun facts: I once wrestled an impala ram for a good cause, and won. I've had my hand in a rhino's mouth, it was super weird. And I briefly handled one of the deadliest snakes in Africa. I have enormous man crushes on Sean Connery and Harrison Ford, and I have just learned to accept it. I'm really not taking this self-summary too seriously because I feel like the whole idea of finding out what someone is about based on something as trivial as a single paragraph of information is pretty much impossible. But I'll make this a lot easier, if you want to have a good time with a fun person who will make you laugh then chat with me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working, playing, and enjoying the little things.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Creating new and interesting curse word combinations. Making awkward situations bearable. Killing time. Procrastinating. Not doing what I should be doing. Being redundant. Making people laugh. Movie trivia (try me). Having a good time. Racquetball (if there were a Greek god of racquetball, it wouldn't be me, but I'm really good). Identifying various plants and animals. Frisbee. I'm also incredible at messing up a perfectly good recipe, but I'm trying.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have no clue, my hair color? Maybe my voice, it tends to carry.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I'm a big fan of books about science as well as sci-fi/fantasy novels, but I can get into almost anything. I love Origin of Species, Endless Forms Most Beautiful, Jurassic Park, The Blue Nowhere, The Eragon books, Chaos Walking trilogy, LOTR, Pride and Prejudice A Confederacy of Dunces, The Killer Angels and I love Stephen King novels.

Movies: I love it all, but there is a special place in my heart for horror and sci-fi movies. The Thing, Halloween and Predator as well as the Alien movies (other than Alien 3, fuck that movie). I also love The Shawshank Redemption, Casablanca, Cinderella Man, The Iron Giant, Gladiator, Star Wars, Tombstone and Indiana Jones.

Shows: I consistently watch Justified, How I Met Your Mother, New Girl, Spartacus, Firefly (used to anyways), True Blood, and AHS.

Music: The Who, The Black Keys, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Elton John, The Avett Brothers, James Taylor, Bob Seger, Boston, Florence + The Machine, Frank Sinatra, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, The White Stripes, Weezer. I really love a lot of different music, but I thought I'd just show some of my favorites that come to mind.

Food: I'll try anything once. I like most of what I eat, trying to get better at actually cooking food that tastes good...results vary.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:
1. My beard
2. My computer
3. Friends/family
4. Books
5. Adventure
6. Laughs
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I'm going to do next. Also things that make me happy and/or laugh. And I have to admit that I spend quite a bit of time wondering how certain characters would fare in other stories. Like if Jack Sparrow was in The Thing, or if Indiana Jones was in The Shawshank Redemption. I know it's a bit odd...don't judge me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wherever I'm at, it's all good.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I feel like Gangta's Paradise and Jump Around are the theme songs to my life. They're totally not, but I feel like they are. Also, spiders terrify me and I don't trust any of them.
