My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up in the central valley of this here golden state. I went to college and worked for a few years in Sacramento, then made the move out here a few years ago for graduate school. I'm liking the bay area and am planning to stick around after I finish my program.

I'm really into music and have played in bands most of my life. Along with music, I like to do stuff like workout, hangout with friends/fam, do almost anything outdoorsy, sleep in, eat out, read something other than textbooks, rock out at concerts, play with computers/technology, and go beer tasting. I'm an INTJ (Myers-Briggs), if that means anything to you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Experiencing it. Trying to make every day interesting and doing what I think will make me the happiest.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Questioning everything
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books..On The Road, The Wonder of the World: A Journey from Modern Science to the Mind of God, Being Logical, Freakonomics, Your Erroneous Zones....and super nerdy stuff for school/work about stats, A.I., and coding.

Movies...Eternal Sunshine, Juno, American Beauty, A Beautiful Mind, The Shining, Groundhog Day, The Graduate.

Shows...The IT Crowd, Planet Earth, Modern Family, The Colbert Report, The Big Bang Theory, Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, It's Always Sunny, New Girl.

Music...This is obviously the most important part of this section. Some of my all-time favorites include Mew, Explosions In The Sky, M83, Set Your Goals, Thrice, This Will Destroy You, Saves The Day, Kendrick Lamar, Coldplay, Dashboard Confessional, John Mayer, Copeland, Fleet Foxes, Moving Mountains, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, and The Tallest Man on Earth.

Food...Thai food, Italian food, Sushi, breakfast food, mexican food, giant sandwhiches, anything with a lot of flavor. I've kind of been on a health kick lately, so less giant sandwiches and more veggie wraps.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Other than food and water, nothing. Some things that would suck to do without would be family and friends, access to information (books, the Internet, journal articles, etc.), music and art, delicious food and drinks, Mother Nature to explore, and time to myself to self-reflect and relax.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where the bug in my code is, existential stuff, science, moving away, where I want to travel next, buying a condo, how much procrastination I can get away with safely, this could go on forever...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Slaying dragons and throwing back whiskey...sometimes...really though, it's more likely I'm just relaxing with a beer and a few friends and/or a movie.
