Books - Anything by Neil Gaiman or Neal Stephenson. I loved Brideshead Revisited in college but seem to have outgrown it. I'd love to put some trendy new fiction (Zadie Smith, Paolo Cohelo et al) but I just can't get into it. Though I do love earlier Salman Rushdie and the last Fraenzen.

Movies - "Out of Sight" - Clooney, Lopez and Soderberg (two of them are awesome and the other one was surprisingly good in this movie). "Community" The only TV series that is laugh out loud, spit take funny. "Band of Brothers" which I could watch over and over - and do. And the same goes for "West Wing".
