My self-summary Propose an edit
Not a whole lot to say. I live in Vancouver and am amazed at how
hard it can be to meet people when there are so many of them
around.
I'm a very energetic person a lot of the time and sometimes the
energy will be more obvious in the way I speak, often jumping from
topic to topic in a way that doesn't completely make sense until
you know me a little, but it seems to captivate certain people. It
makes me happy, and so I don't see it changing.
Beyond that, I'm your standard geek. I like stupid in jokes and bizarre
humour as well as exploring new things and generally goofing off. I
don't take life too seriously and at this point, I'm pretty much
just along for the ride.
I suppose it could be a good idea to write a little about what I'm
looking for, couldn't it. Well, I am currently in a relationship
with a wonderful guy, but we aren't monogamous. I don't know if
you'd call us exactly poly either because to be honest, we're not
looking for a permanent addition or a new boyfriend or girlfriend,
at least not at the moment. I'm here looking for friends with the
possibility of benefits, if I can put it so crassly. We've done a
little (and I do unfortunately mean very little) in the realm of
three-way play and that was some of the most fun we've had and we
would very much like to repeat the experience. At the moment we're
looking for women because, well, we just are. He's not at all into
guys and I haven't been with a woman in a while and I miss it.
There's a certain something that's different. I can't quite explain
it, but I know it's there. I mean, obviously there are the physical
differences (lol boobs :P) but there's something beyond that, and
so it's woman hunting we go ^_^ Anyway, I'm rambling.
The message to take from this, I guess, would be that if you're a
guy looking for sex, you should probably look elsewhere. I've been
told this is unfair. It might be, but I have faith that you'll get
over it. I never said we couldn't be friends ^_^ If you're a girl
looking for sex, you might find it if we click, either just with me
or with my wonderful boyfriend as well. If you're just looking for
friends, that's cool too because I like friends.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
I'm doing the 20-something thing which appears to consist of having
great times with some great people but also working at a job I
hate. Oh, fast food, how you corrode my soul (and my shoes) with
your grease. I'm also pretending that I'm working on a novel for
NaNoWriMo or,
for those not in the know, the National Novel Writing Month. Trying
to write 50,000 words in one month pretty much just for the sake of
doing it. I've been informed that it's not the best way to go about
writing a novel and I would have to agree, but I'm having fun. I'm
writing the autobiography of an imaginary friend, an idea that I'm
very proud of. Other than that, I'm attempting to learn my place in
the world, both metaphorically and literally (I'm terrible with
maps and learning my way around. Moving the the city has been an
adventure in that regard). I like my world for the most part, and I
think that's pretty sweet.
I'm really good at Propose an edit
Music is probably my first passion. I'll learn to play any
instrument I can get ahold of. I've been playing the flute for the
since I was 11, so it's obviously my main focus, but I'll try
anything twice.
I've also been told I'm witty and I like to think I'm a very
positive and upbeat person.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
Physically it's probably my height - I didn't think 5'10" was that
tall, but I guess it is for a girl. Then my boobs because hey,
boobs are rad. The first thing people might notice in a
conversation could be that I talk really fast a lot of the time and
that I tend to like to be the one to find a joke in most
situations. I try not to be annoying about it, but sometimes I
wonder.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
Books: Good Omens, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Ender's Game,
Brave New World, American Gods and anything else Neil Gaiman has ever
written.
Movies: Garden State, Saved!, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless
Mind, I Heart Huckabees, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Finding
Nemo, Monty Python (Life of Brian being my favourite), and a bunch
of other random movies I can't think of just now. I know there are
way more comedies in my repertoire of good movies, but they just
aren't coming to mind.
Music: The Barenaked Ladies, The New
Pornographers, Matchbox 20,The Beatles, Nirvana, Bad Religion,
System of a Down, Cake, Weezer, various other awesome people
Foods: I really love pasta. Also, you can never go wrong with good
Indian food.
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
1)My friends
2)Music in general, my flute specifically
3)The occasional night of crazy antics
4)Some sort of music listening device
5)A certain amount of ridiculousness
6)Food/water/air. Had to have at least one item taken up by actual
essentials.
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
anything and everything. I can spend hours just going over song
lyrics. Other times I'll spend days on end thinking about random
philosophy stuff, mostly things I make up cause I don't know anyone
else's, really. Sometimes it's more mundane things, but my mind is
always going. I just can't always say about what.
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
Out partying if I can be. Also wandering, a wonderful time spent just
walking around talking about all the things I or the other person
thinks about. Working is the unfortunate answer a lot of the time.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
I never know how to answer these things. I prefer specific
questions. How about this - you ask something, and I'll decide if I
should tell you? I probably will tell you though, I don't keep many
secrets about myself.
You should message me if Propose an edit
you feel like it. I'd love to hear from anyone. I feel I can
express myself so much better in a conversation than these one
sided generic questions.
