I like to listen to people talk about thing they are passionate. I love how people speak about things that matter to them and that passion can be contagious.
I like to go camping or just out for a hike. I often put my daughter in a backpack and head out for the day.
I spends a lot of time doing social activism and volunteer work. Not only it is rewarding and you are making a differences, creating the world you want, it is also a lot of fun.

What am I am I doing with my life?
Well, I’m enjoying it. I find I am rather happy with my life. And while it is rather simple, being content with my life is something I have recently learned, it is very nice place to be.

Work hard and play harder. I’m not naturally an extrovert but I don’t want to sit on the sidelines and hope life will come to me. I’m going to go out there and see what it looks like. I work hard and when it is done I want to enjoy my time as much as possible. And this is how I live my life. I rarely sit at home and do nothing. I would rather have friends over or go out dancing all hours of the night. And if the option is between watching TV and doing something outside you will find me playing outside.

Maybe a better thing to say is I really enjoy having friends over and cooking for them. I love to go out dancing. I like to paint and sew and whatever crafty thing I’m doing at the moment.

People usually say my eyes.

I read mostly SF/ fantasy. A lot of Heinlein, Robin McKinley,
Catherine Asaro, Anne Bishop, Frank Herbert or whom ever else
strikes my fancy at the moment. I also like to read about politics
and history and historical fiction. My favorite books run the gamut
from Dune to Pride and Prejudice to Dispatches.

As for movies: The Constant Gardener, Velvet Goldmine, Empire of the Sun, Lawrence of Arabia, Strictly Ballroom, Dune, Blade Runner and many more that don't come to mind at the moment.

I don't watch much TV but I do love West Wing, Babylon 5 and Firefly.

I love to cook and have people over. I like to eat and make all kinds of food but not good with spicy. But I make very good pie.

Things I would not want to do without:

Good books
Good friends
Family- particularly my Daughter
Dancing
Music
And ‘Wait, wait. Don’t tell me’.

Flowers, politics, the state of the world, dancing, social activism, filibuster reform, and what my daughter has in her mouth.

Out dancing with friends. I love dancing and spending time with my friends so this works out very well. Sometimes having people over for game night or out camping for the weekend. And sometimes cuddling with my kid watching a movie just taking it easy at home.
