I'm an honest, straight-forward, genuinely nice guy. Although I’m
quiet at first, I warm up quickly. I'm not into the bar scene, but
instead I thrive on exploring places of interest (state and
national parks, museums, aquariums, festivals, historical sites,
etc.). When my immediate world becomes stressful, I practice yoga
and meditation to relax and regain focus. I like to experiment with
baking, and my friends say I make a mean chocolate chip
cookie!
Now that it is warming up, I will be spending more time outside
down at First Landing State park hiking with my dog or letting him
swim in the ocean.

My self-summary
What I'm doing with my life
I start back at ODU this Thursday and I've already started reading
one of the selected books. It should be an interesting class after
reading the first couple chapters of the book.
I'm really good at
exploring the world using my feet, a bike, or a watercraft of some
type. I can pick out some of the best sushi bars around town and
there are a lot of them. If there is ever a need for historical
interpretation, I'm very good at pointing someone in the right
direction after talking their ear off about that subject.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me
is that I am exactly as I appear.

The Shins, Carbon Leaf, The Last of the Mohican's Soundtrack, Enya,
Death Cab for Cutie, The Postal Service, Handel's Water Music, John

1. Shepherd: He's my 2 year old Golden Retriever mixed with a
Miniature Australian Shepherd.
2. The Sun: Though I do enjoy a good long thunderstorm, the sun provides me with all the energy I need.
3. Friends: I have always been blessed (or cursed) with an abundance of friends.
4. Books: There are many things I can do without in this world, but there's always time for a good book. (Even in Audio format)
5. Nature: The Woods and the beach are places I'd like to be whenever I can escape the world of responsibilities.
6. Sweat Tea: It's probably the best Southern Tradition to ever be created or thought up.

how each action will effect my karma, how the environment needs to
be protected and what I can do to help, and how I can go about
improving myself.
On a typical Friday night I am
usually hanging out with friends enjoying a good movie and a meal,
wandering the beaches of Seashore State Park, or relaxing with my
dog at home.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here
is that I feel I was born in the wrong age. I feel I should be
living in the Middle Ages.
