My self-summary
Hey everyone. I'm a 22 year old film and theater student looking to see who's out there! Art and creativity are a huge part of my life. My own creative endeavors are usually in the fields of writing (fiction writing, as well as stage- and screenplays), filmmaking, and acting. Ideally I'd like to date someone who is creative as well, but if you can at least appreciate the arts we should get along fine :D

Fair warning, I am a bit of a movie fanatic, but the upside of that is I'm always looking for interesting new films to check out. If you have favorites to recommend, I'd love to hear them!
What I’m doing with my life
Writing as often as I can. Playing far too much Binding of Isaac. Going to college and living at home, for now at least. I'm a senior at the moment about to go on internship in the spring, probably in New York City, so if you have any favorite spots there by all means let me know!
I’m really good at
I like to think I've become a solid writer over the past few years, but I can always get better!

I'm also basically a Tetris GOD
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no clue. Probably that I'm relatively short, but whatever it is they don't usually say.

I kind of have a sneaking suspicion that I tend to make bad/weird first impressions on people that become my best friends later on, so don't write me off right away!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Not sure about specific books, but some of my favorite authors are Alan Moore, Douglas Adams, Philip K. Dick, Ursula K. Le Guin, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Margaret Atwood, Lemony Snicket, Elmore Leonard, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., and Upton Sinclair.

A few books I've read this past year and really liked are Room by Emma Donoghue, The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley, and Laura by Vera Caspary.

Movies: So many. So, so many. Ask me what more of them are, but I'll list my top ten here for now: Toy Story, There Will Be Blood, Barry Lyndon, Bonnie and Clyde, The Thin Blue Line, Star Wars, The Man Who Wasn't There, Koyaanisqatsi, Django Unchained, 12 Angry Men.

In general, just about any film by Pixar, the Coen Brothers, Tarantino, David Fincher, Chris Nolan, Stanley Kubrick, Paul Thomas Anderson, or Wes Anderson would be something I'll probably like.

Shows: Lost, Adventure Time, The Simpsons, Star Wars: The Clone Wars (and now Rebels), Orange is the New Black, Breaking Bad, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Archer, Bob's Burgers, Animaniacs, MST3K, the first three seasons of Spongebob, and Ed, Edd n Eddy.

Music: My music section was a mess, so I've stripped it down for now. Rest assured that anything touched by Jack White, Leonard Cohen, or Joshua Homme is something I'm sure to love.

Food: Pasta. Really all sorts of Italian food.
The six things I could never do without
My computer.
My friends and family. (not really a "thing," but...)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
thinking. thats right bro, big fan of metacognition here #swag

Also, how few limited-release/arthouse movie theaters are around me, and how sad that makes me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Likely just hanging out at home or with friends, watching a terrible B-horror movie in either case. YOU can be the one to CHANGE THAT! OR you could watch the B-horror movie with me!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I haven't been in a relationship before, but If someone great comes along I'm eager to start one.
You should message me if
You're funny and interesting and would like to get to know me more! (Being cute wouldn't hurt either!)

Don't be shy about making the first move- as a more reserved person I would absolutely appreciate it.

*NOTE* For any Boston-area girls who like my profile but are put off by the distance: I can actually take the bus in to Boston quite easily, and I enjoy visiting the city, so don't worry about that!
