My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello! I'm a 21 year old film student and fiction writer looking to casually date with the potential for something serious. Nerdy interests are encouraged, as is a passion for the arts. Feel free to send me a message!

I tend to be a bit quiet around new people/in big groups but I've gotten better at speaking up recently. If we have interests in common then good conversation shouldn't be an issue!

I am fairly obsessed with movies, so being open to new films and genres would be very helpful, as would being willing to spend an evening in, snuggling up and watching a film :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Going to college and living at home. Not sure what I'll be doing once I graduate, but hopefully I'll find a good internship in film or theater, since I have a bunch of friends in both fields!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing and making movies, or so I'm told- I'm an aspiring filmmaker and/or novelist!

I'm also basically a Tetris GOD
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have no clue. Probably that I'm relatively short, but whatever it is they don't say.

I kind of have a sneaking suspicion that I tend to make bad/weird first impressions on people that become my best friends later on, so don't write me off right away!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Not sure about specific books, but some of my favorite authors are Alan Moore, Douglas Adams, Philip K. Dick, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Lemony Snicket, Elmore Leonard, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Stieg Larsson and Upton Sinclair.

Movies: Pretty much anything good, but some particular favorites are Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Prestige, Memento, The Big Lebowski, The Man Who Wasn't There, Barry Lyndon, Barton Fink, The Shining, Back to the Future, The King of Kong, Tombstone, Hugo, The Sting, Jackie Brown, Django Unchained, Mulholland Dr., There Will Be Blood, Bonnie and Clyde, anything Mel Brooks made, anything Pixar, and many more.

Shows: Lost, Doctor Who, Adventure Time, The Simpsons, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Scandal, Orange is the New Black, Archer, Bob's Burgers, Regular Show, Animaniacs, Burn Notice, Firefly, Sherlock, Breaking Bad, MST3K, the first three seasons of Spongebob Squarepants, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.

Music: The White Stripes, Lemon Demon, The Aquabats, The Strokes, Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, The Black Keys, Philip Glass, They Might Be Giants, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, Reverend Horton Heat, Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, The Unicorns, Leonard Cohen, Rick James, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Kills, and movie scores (especially those by John Williams, Michael Giacchino, Thomas Newman, and probably others I'm missing. Also, the soundtracks for Tarantino movies are generally amazing).

Food: Pasta. Really all sorts of Italian food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My computer.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

Also, I spend much time pondering over how few limited-release/arthouse movie theaters are around me.
On a typical Friday night I am

Likely just hanging out at home. YOU can be the one to CHANGE THAT!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I haven't been in a relationship before, but If someone great comes along I'm eager to start one!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're funny and interesting and would like to get to know me more! (Being cute wouldn't hurt!)

Don't be shy about making the first move- as a quiet person I would absolutely appreciate it!

*NOTE* For any Boston-area girls who like my profile but are put off by the distance: I can actually take the bus in to Boston quite easily, and I enjoy visiting the city, so don't worry about that!
