I have this habit of sitting on this site and watching people post things on other people's journals. And I've noticed a pattern. Certain people vs. other people, or as I'm going to call it....the sane and rational adults of this site vs. the criminally insane people over a certain age that need to turn off their computers and go back to the bingo hall that they crawled out of. Let me just break down like this: some of you people are egotistical shitstains that long for the days when you could call me a jiggaboo to my face and not have to worry about retaliation in the form of me beating your ass up and down the street with your own leg. Those of you...and you know who the fuck you are...who are in said category, I would like you to do me a huge favor. Go out to the garage, turn on the car, close the door, sit there, smoke a cigarette and enjoy the silence. Please.

It's been my experience that most guys who use the phrase "I respect women" really don't. PLEASE don't give me a practiced speech about how much you respect women. I would much rather you show me how much you respect my gender by treating myself and all other women WITH said respect. Actions truly speak louder than words.

I have to say that respect has to be earned, not given. I've met quite a few scummy women in my day who didn't deserve a lick of respect, yet thought because they possessed a vagina and breasts, they should be respected. On the same side of the coin, I've also met a lot of guys who don't deserve to be respected.

I just think that respect should be given based on the person's actions, intelligence and general demeanor. Not based on their gender.
