I am nerdy, geeky, and funny.
My Self-Summary
I'm that nerdy guy that always stood a little apart. That one whom
everyone came to for help on homework. I'm a geek, a nerd, and in
general an oddball.
By and large i'm an academic, and i'd like to consider myself to be
rather intelligent. I'm also pretty sarcastic, generally having a
smart alec response to most things. I've got a pretty good sense of
humor too.
Hanging around with me is always an odd experience. My train of
though tends to make its own tracks.
My friends are all rather like me. Nerds, geeks, and the occasional
freak. We're disfunctional, but we all get along.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently attending School at the Colorado School of Mines,
studying mathematics, physics, and computer science.
I'm also studying Aikido at Nippon-kan in denver.
I’m really good at
I'm a computer geek and have a fair bit of experience with
programming. I'm also good at math an physics, as indicated by my
choses areas of study. I enjoy solving problems, trying to figure
out ways to make things work.
The first things people usually notice about me
The first thing people generally perceive about me is likely my
glasses. I've worn glasses since i was in the 2nd grade, and truth
be told, many of my friends do a double take in recognizing me
without them.
After that, the most probable candidate is my speech. I use odd
expressions and words which do not seem to appear in the average
person's vocabulary. I do not so much think about it as just do it
naturally.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher (BEST BOOKS EVER!),
Tolkien, Good Omens, Discworld series. in that order.
Movies: Transformers (both), Lord of the Rings, Good Will Hunting,
MIB.
Music: I love country music! Live with it! i also enjoy some techno
and the occasional oddball song.
Artists: Josh Gracin, Taylor Swift, Brooks & Dunn, Garth
Brooks, Rascall Flatts.
Video Games: Red Alert 2, Starcraft, Team Fortress 2, Portal, Left
4 Dead.
Webcomics: Irregular Webcomic!, xkcd, Questionable Content...
The six things I could never do without
Food, water, sleep, oxygen, shelter, homeostasis...
oooooh... you mean besides the lowest layer of maslow's heirarchy!
gotcha. okay.
Computers, books, friends, family, fresh air, freedom.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Trying to follow what i'm thinking about is rather like trying to
follow the causal links between the butterfly's flap and the
hurricane. My trains of thought don;t have rails. They have
hoverdrives. Like the train at the end of Back to the Future 3.
