My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, my name is Evan. I'm a really calculated sort of guy. I take my time making big decisions because I want to get them right. Once I've got that down I take action and quickly. My sense of humor can best be described as abstract.

I'm often called upon to be the storytelling in my social circles. Once when riding between the bridges at the point we spotted a homeless gentleman begging for change on the ramp. I had some coins in hand and so I threw them at the window while driving past at about 35. Wasn't long before we were stopped in traffic. The homeless gentleman decided to chase our car down for reasons we couldn't fathom. Then he shouted at me, "He fat boy, you threw the coins off the bridge!"

I try to be as honest and understanding of people as possible. My work involves helping people with problems that they often can't show me. It leaves me with no choice but to try to see things from their perspective and it translates over to my day to days as well.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently headed back to school. Mostly online classes. Going to study Physics. We live in quite the fascinating world and I just wanna explore it in every way I can.

For work I'm full-time at the best possible retail job. Work with a lot of great and interesting people doing work I find stimulating.

For fun, obviously I play hockey. I'm also big on video games, card games, board games. Also, weekly team trivia.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at assessing problems. My work is about 75% listening to people who don't understand their own problems and then fixing them. You've got to listen well and find the problem using only context and fix it.

Finding the silver lining. Believe me when I say that all situations have one. For example, my car died on me and my immediate thought was about how much more exercise I would get from walking places and taking public transit.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It used to be my hat. Before I cut it I had very long hair and would wear fedoras to keep it out of my eyes. Now people who know me ask where my hat is. Apparently they don't remember all that hair.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1.) My job, and not for the money reason either.

2.) Science, way too cool to think about.

3.) Humor, if I'm not laughing I'm not living.

4.) Smart Phone, this is an indispensable tool for my useless information habit and an endless source of entertainment.

5.) Hockey, seriously, my earliest memory is of hockey.

6.) Shower gloves, I'm amazed more people don't know about these. Wash cloths are for sissies, get yourself some shower gloves, you'll thank me later. http://amzn.to/17GIlPu

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Team trivia with the friends, after which I'll sit down to a relaxing evening of video games with my other friends. (read: online friends)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I didn't get around to shaving for the first time until I was 21. And even then there was next to nothing to chop off this baby face of mine.
