My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm nice, easy-going, loyal, and love to make others laugh and feel good. I'm trust-worthy, intelligent and can hold a conversation on just about any subject.

I'm a geek, a gamer and a bookworm. I can geek out about a movie for hours if you let me. My favorite sports are baseball, hockey, and the UFC. I enjoy going to concerts and stand-up comedy shows. I love to travel, but don't get to very often. I also enjoy road trips, and would love to have someone join me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in Customer Support for an online PC and mobile game company.

In my spare time I record a podcast with a friend of mine, discussing movies, video games, pop culture and just about anything else that comes to mind.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Pop-culture trivia, making others laugh, talking endlessly about movies, video games and books, balancing the intelligent conversations with the oddball ones, being there for my friends and family, and laughing at myself. I will often put my close friends before myself, but I find it very rewarding.

My friends tell me that I always have an interesting story to tell, no matter how ridiculous or self-deprecating. I'm able to make a joke out of just about anything. :-)

I have no trouble goofing off, but I know when to get serious and connect. I love to talk about so many different things and I am a good listener as well.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm generally pretty shy/quiet when I first meet people, listening more than speaking, but once I'm comfortable with the person it can be difficult to get me to shut up.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Road, Lord of the Rings, Battle Royale, Kiss Me Judas, Invisible Monsters, A Song of Ice and Fire, Ready Player One, and A Scanner Darkly. In general, the stranger the book, the better.

Movies: I can be a bit of a snob when it comes to movies, but am open watching anything with the right person...yes, even chick flicks. Some of my all-time favorites include Blade Runner, Fight Club, Memento, Seven, The Usual Suspects, Brick, The Princess Bride, Juno, Wall-E, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Star Wars (the original trilogy), Die Hard, Indiana Jones, Inception, and The Dark Knight Trilogy.

TV: Arrested Development, Archer, The IT Crowd, Entourage, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Game of Thrones, The Wire, Deadwood, Rome, The Walking Dead, and The Killing.

Music: Pixies, Modest Mouse, Rise Against, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, The Lumineers, and Band of Horses.

I love stand-up comedy albums by Stephen Lynch, Patton Oswalt, Lewis Black, Dave Attell and Flight of the Conchords.

I also listen to podcasts as well, including SModcast, Hollywood Babble-On, The Nerdist and FEaB. If you're familiar with any of these podcasts you'll understand my sense of humor.

Food: I'll be the first to admit that I'm a picky eater. I typically stick to comfort foods (also known as not that healthy for you, but so delicious!). I love pizza and pasta, hamburgers and some Mexican food. No matter where I am, for reasons I can't comprehend, if they serve Mozzarella Sticks, I just have to order them. An odd vice, I know, haha.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
*My close friends and family
*My phone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Post-apocalyptic Z-Day exit strategies, when I'm going to take my next vacation and where I'll go, song lyrics I can't get out of my head, and that I should sleep and exercise more.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends on the night, really. I could be seeing a movie with friends, going out for drinks, catching up on my Netflix queue, or doing some gaming. If it's Spring or Summer I'm usually watching my Mariners with my family at home or at Safeco Field.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've started collecting LEGO Lord of the Rings sets. Have to stay young at heart somehow, right?!
