I'm a doctoral student studying biochemistry, so in other words, I have no life.

I am nerdy, sarcastic, and awesome

Right now, working on my PhD and trying not to think much past that.

Actually I'm an excellent cook, I guess it comes with the whole chemistry deal. You'd be surprised how much making dinner and running an experiment have in common.
Also, despite the obvious nerdom, I'm actually able to carry a conversation and NOT stand there with my hands shoved in my pockets fidgeting about.

Typical first impression:

1) Sweet zombie jesus this kid is smart....
2) Well at least he isn't a know-it-all....
3) And he's kind of a bit nerdy....
4) But that sense of humor makes up for it

Also, the bright blue eyes and usually goofy hair draw some comments.

Why I let my (now former) graduate adviser talk me into a project that uses BOTH high voltage and explosives at the same time or ever thinking that working with her would be a good idea in the first place.

How on earth my dog ever came about. Shes a black lab/dachshund mix. Think about that for a minute. I pretty much have to tell people that she was a lab experiment of mine that I fell in love with.

To be honest, there is no "typical" night for me. I'm fairly random, so sometimes it might be just relaxing alone, could be seeing a movie with friends or having some people over for beers.

I'm terrible at taking hints. Seriously, don't bother, just tell me what you're trying to get at or its not going to happen.

Also, I don't have a sense of smell. Born without it as far as I can tell. I only recently learned that colors don't have smells. I always assumed commercials were referring to the color when they said "fresh orange scent".

Lastly, I can't swim. I totally just sink like a brick.

Yeah I don't mind sharing personal/embarrassing stuff...
