Let's see, I'm in college for physics and philosophy, hopefully getting a Ph.D. in one or both and becoming a professor or a mad scientist (the health care plan sucks but the job perks are incredible). My active hobbies include Snowboarding(my absolute love, I disappear to the mountains in the winter :-p), Skateboarding (going on 10 years, still not very good), Free Running, Parkour, gymnastics(no, I don't wear the tights), general hyper activity and sudden outbursts of dancing.

This site gives me A.D.D. so I have a habit of bouncing around, clicking on random things, and realizing I just read the same profile 3 times.

I also spend a lot of time on video games(RPG's mostly, FFVII, Oblivion, also Halo 3 and all the Devil May Cry series, maybe not 2...), the interwebs, listening to music, watching cartoons, anime(Hellsing, Ronin Warriors, DBZ, others), manga, video editing, and music production.

I've been feeling the need to take the parts of my life I enjoy to their limits. I want to skate/snowboard until i can't move, be geekier (god(s) damnit, i want to play D&D), work on the hardest forms of physics i can, deal with the most complex philosophies, have unbelievable stories with new people, meet amazing/unique/ridiculous women, and so on. Anyone up for helping with this is very welcome.

I'm interested in almost anything in some capacity, theres a lot to do on this sphere-like planet and I'll be damned if I miss out on it.

I tend to prefer people a few years older than me, though they often see my age and think "under 21, no drinking no way" or something lame like that.

I have trouble describing my personality but this might help, or hurt. The two songs I've been told make people think of me are "Handle Bars" by Flobots (hence my user name) and "Santeria" by Sublime (santeria more for the tone than lyrical content). Personally, I'd rather think "Bam Thwok" by The Pixies is a much better description of me on a good day. Most I say about my personality tends to fall into paradox, so you're probably better off talking to me then trying to piece me together through this summary.

I'm a Junior in college, dual majoring in physics and philosophy, and hopefully will end up as a professor or research physicist. I'm also a sponsored snowboarder and am trying to take that as far as possible.

Philosophy (i.e. ranting, occasionally in an intellectual fashion), science, snowboarding, skateboarding(maybe not really good but after 10 years i don't completely suck), being goofy, breaking awkward silence with even more awkward things, and many random talents which may either save my life or go unused.

Either my eyes, hair, or the fact that I'm always smiling. Sometimes I get things along the lines of "you look kind of like johnny depp if I squint."

Well the obvious things are boring, because everyone has air, food, etc. in common. So let's go with "6 things I'd rather not do without."

Everything. Morality, Quantum Physics, String Theory, Relativity, Ethics, If the one electron theory were true, Mataphysics (if there can be such a thing even), human interactions, you get the idea.

I want to know everything, fuck the arrogance of such a statement, unreachable goals deserve an infinite drive towards their completion. Reaching for the glorious impossible is worth the inherent failure.

Sometimes I wonder if all my bad luck is derived from all the chain letters I've never forwarded...

I occasionally just stop and stare at an object trying to imagine the interactions of the molecules, atoms, and sub atomic particles, or I watch something move and think of the forces acting on it and how. I tend to meta-analyze the questions on here and try to rate them based on the thinking pattern that would lead to the answer instead of the answer itself, which is probably wrong half the time.

Really isn't a typical friday. Everything from sitting at home alone to out and about, lost on a random adventure. or skating.

Ok, so I just got an awesome idea (stolen from someone else's profile... probably should have messaged her..). If you don't know what to write, here are a few short essay topic ideals:

Just go for it, I'll be glad to talk, I like people who take initiative and honestly, I'm kind of shy online, so bonus points for starting the conversation. I'm not one to ignore people unless they're really boring and annoying.
