I'm widely considered funny, I'm a big ol' geekboy, I'm absent-minded, and I have been known to get shitfaced playing I Never at a party and sing old Gilbert and Sullivan songs. I am a vast repository of useless knowledge. Sober, I can remember all the words to "I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General". This has never been useful for anything. My house has a comic book vault in the basement, a small walk-in room completely full of comics. When I was 12 I decided that I'd have a comic book vault when I grew up, and now I do.

I'm a semiprofessional writer, I try to exercise regularly, and I'm involved with four or five women as of this writing. Yes, I'm polyamorous, or as some call it, easy. I take my writing very seriously, and can often be found in the basement, locked in my room, drinking rum, puffing on my pipe, and trying to headbutt a particular scene or line into submission. I'm currently launching a small magazine, which I will cheerfully bore you blind talking about if you give me the least excuse. I can make people laugh under most circumstances, I'm a good shot with a pistol, I can write quite well, I usually come up with good toasts, and my spelling is impeccable. The other things I'm good at should probably be discussed privately.

Books... geez, I read a lot of comics, my favorites being stuff like PLANETARY and 100 BULLETS, also just lately I'm reading some Michael Chabon, some Iain M. Banks, some Studs Terkel... it varies a lot.

Movies, hell, I'm a geek. We all like a lot of the same movies. So yeah, the standard geek list, LORD OF THE RINGS, STAR WARS, etc. Then there's movies I love that the rest of the world dislikes. BRAIN DONORS, LEAP OF FAITH, MR. SATURDAY NIGHT, a few like that. And, then I love a lot of classics. I mean, if you don't like CASABLANCA, you're just wrong and there's nothing to be done about it.

My taste in music... oy. Okay, flicking randomly through my MP3 playlist, we've got Kool Moe Dee, the Pogues, South Park soundtrack, Sweeney Todd soundtrack, Air Supply, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, the Arrogant Worms, the Monkees, the Offspring, Bruce Springsteen, Melissa Etheridge, more Pogues, Barenaked Ladies... okay, bored with doing this now.

Foods, gimme Thai. Panang curry beef all the way. Also the Special Day Shrimp at the Tabor Hill Cafe. So addicted to that dish.

I've had various things on this list over the years, but sooner or later I find myself doing without all of them at one time or another. Alas.
