Well, for starters, I'm your average college grad, work be it the
bill paying sort, or the creative, as well as my friends are my
life. I'm a Nerd, Rocker, Writer with my head in the clouds and my
feet firmly on the ground.
What I’m doing with my life
Moving to Manchester New Hampshire with a highschool buddy! I'm
originally from Maine, the Portland region.
I also run a writing blog: Mon,Wed.Friday posting schedule.
I've written a book, and it is currently in the editing process,
with the second book in works. Also, short stories. If a journey
through the underworld based off Maslows hierarchy of needs sounds
interesting, I'm the fantasy writer for you. That or a complex
allegory told as a short survival horror piece about drug addiction
sounds interesting, that again would be my work.
Losing Weight. I've dropped 32 pounds since December. Aiming to go
another 21 pounds more. Considering trying to drop another 40...
but lets see how that next 20 goes first.
I’m really good at
I can cook a mean chicken Marsala, drive through the worst storms,
find my way to places I've only been once, write poetry, remember
obscure things people have said at the exact right moment, crack
jokes at myself, difuse bombs... I mean negative situations, game
hard core, write novels, zombie survival plans, basic
understandings of a varied array of obscure sciences, knowing the
right words, dwelling on words that sound fun, like Lava... I dare
you to just say lava a few times. The way it rolls off your tongue
is just splendid, knowing much of many nerdoms, enjoying talking
about character development, psychoanalysing everything, mentioning
Fraud as often as possible and how funny his theories are by todays
standards. and a whole bunch more.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'll say my hair is thick and curly
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Well I started really reading with Harry Potter, read some
Marry Higgins Clarks books, RA Salvitor does great high fantasy,
enjoying Jim Buther at present (dresden files, magic meets
detective story, very interesting). TA Baron had a good series
about Merlin, Vonnegut, Salinger. I've fallen for Neil Gaimon, and
am also enjoying the works of George R.R. Martin. Reading some King
The Princess Bride is an alltime clasic, Zombie land, 28 days
later, Mystery Men, Meet the parents, Inception, Momento? Star
Shows: Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Supernatural, CSI, various anime.
Mostly the 90's stuff though. Good old Trigun and Cowboy bee
Music: I love Rock, all forms soft, clasical, newer stuff, harder
stuff, hell even metal. I also have a great respect for clasical
and Jazz, however I Hate Rap and country. In particular I'm really
digging Cage the Elephant, Mummford and sons, Metalica, stone sour,
Flyleaf, Evanessence, 30 seconds from mars, shine down, Disturbed,
Nine inch nails, Stone temple pilots, Smashing pumpkins. More
recently I've been loving Fun, The Neon Trees, White Stripes, the
Black Keys, Adele, Flourance and the Machine, of Monsters and
Games: Legend of zelda (all), Fire Emblem, Advanced wars, Mass
Effect, Castlevania, Skyrim.
As for food, I'm not picky.
The six things I could never do without
Friends for starters
some form of media, be it music, movies, or writting
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Stories, concepts, the future, the meaning of life (42), and
generaly what I'm going to work on next.
Lets add. The nature of man kind, the plight of this country, the
way things ought to be, free will, the choices we make, and the
lives we live. The universe, how its all supposed to end, other
universes, religion (funny an Atheist thinking about religion.).
Who can forget the inevitable zombie apocolypse.
How Badly Mass effect ended, and why the ending is such a cop out.
Writing meta. Misconceptions about what we writers do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Lately it's been work, tuesday's my "fun" day for the foreseeable
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I snore... its embarisng. *dies*
You should message me if
If you feel like showing an out of towner around. I'm new to the
area and am looking to get to know it better. Luckily for me and my
room mate, it won't be my first time living outside of Maine. So
it's not quite the story of two bumbling College Grads trying to
make it in a new city, having never been away from home.
