My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm most likely to order whiskey on the rocks on a night out, and I can cook you one of the best steaks you've probably ever had. My queso recipe is pretty fantastic as well. I just finished my mechanical engineering degree at UT, and I recently moved to Waco to work for SpaceX...super pumped! I was born and raised in Austin, and I like to exercise, eat, drink, and sleep...wash, rinse, repeat. I'm really more of a shop guy by nature. If you have something that's broken I can probably fix it, or I could build you a pretty sweet car...your choice :) I can build one hell of a fire, and I’m definitely the guy you'll want by your side during the zombie apocalypse. My current goal is to run a 10K in less than 40:00. It’s gonna happen. I’ve trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitstu, Muay Thai, and MMA, but seriously…I’m a lover, not a fighter. I'm honest, genuine, and I try my absolute hardest to follow through with the things I say I will do. I like my coffee black, and I can't stand being late. I'm very passionate about my relationships, and I believe chivalry isn't dead. I'm willing to prove it to you. My long term memory is phenomenal, but my short term memory can leave a bit to be desired from time to time. Oh, and for the's not that I don't like the beach, but I'd just rather spend my time in the mountains. I'm on the lookout for a fellow adventurer and a partner in crime. I'm happy, and I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. Just promise you won't break it and we'll be fine :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I wasn't like every other kid, you know, who dreams about being an astronaut, I was always more interested in what bark was made out of on a tree. Richard Gere's a real hero of mine. Sting. Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music he's created over the years, I don't really listen to it, but the fact that he's making it, I respect that. I care desperately about what I do. Do I know what product I'm selling? No. Do I know what I'm doing today? No. But I'm here, and I'm gonna give it my best shot...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Working with my hands, procrastinating, motivating myself when I'm bored with procrastinating, reading people's reactions, parallel parking, building fires, cooking steaks, making queso, fixing cars

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Unfortunately I haven't read a book of my choosing in quite a while. Most of what I read generally comes out of some super thick, dry, and boring text book full of math equations that are disgusting enough to make your grandmother cry. It's currently just a matter of what I have time for; that should change in the next year or so.

Movies: The Boondock Saints, The Usual Suspects, The Darjeeling Limited, Snatch, The Hangover, Big Fish, Zoolander, Waiting For Guffman, The Big Lebowski, The Dark Knight, Shawshank Redemption, The Princess Bride, 28 Days Later, Green Street Hooligans, The Breakfast Club, and Moulin Rouge (say what you will but that movie has the BEST production design ever!), and I'm always up for a good horror movie

Shows: The Walking Dead, The Office, Family Guy, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Game of Thrones, Falling Skies

Music: I like most music except and country (you'll find no urban cowboy here). I probably listen to alt rock the most but can get in to just about anything else. I don't know if I have any favorite bands at the moment, and oddly enough I study best listening to electronic/techno music.

Food: Absolute favorites are hands down BBQ, Italian, TexMex, and a good steak. I'll happily wait in line at Franklins for some brisket as often as you want! Brick Oven on 35th (not to be confused with the chain) is my favorite restaurant for italian, and AUSTIN Land and Cattle, not TLC, is my favorite steakhouse. Let's not forget about Amy's ice cream for desert either!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Making out ;)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How badly I'd love to backpack around the Grand Canyon.

Also, what the next car I'm going to build will be…the current candidates under consideration are a '65 GTO, a T-bucket street rod, or something from the 30's that has american gangster written all over it. Votes?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either chilling at home watching a couple of movies, or trying to round up some friends to go out for some drinks.
