My self-summary
Moved to Philly in Sept 2014. Tallahassee, FL native, very close to my family, love to read, travel, watch sports and cook. I'm of Greek/Italian/Irish heritage. I'm sarcastic, but not in a mean way. I love to make people laugh and I'd much rather be told I'm funny than pretty.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a great job with the Feds. It is tough, but rewarding. I move here for work after working for the State of Florida for the last 5 and a half years.
I’m really good at
Cooking, crafting, making people laugh, and people-watching. I also play a pretty mean game of Scrabble. I love to cook for others and try new recipes often. I've gotten into kickboxing and weight training in the last 6 months and really like it.

I have recently gotten into coloring. I received some coloring books for adults for my birthday and I've fallen in love with it. It's incredibly relaxing and I find myself not paying attention to silly things like my phone or what's on tv.

I love to travel and my passport has quite a few stamps on it. Hope to add more soon. I'm a great travel partner whether it's a short drive to the coast or a cross country flight.
The first things people usually notice about me
My short stature or my blue eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Wow I can't even begin to list all the books I love, but my favorite authors are Jodi Picoult, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Edwidge Danticut, Sue Monk Kidd, James Patterson, Amy Tan, Stephen King and Louisa May Alcott. My favorite books are Little Women and Island of the Blue Dolphin. Recently became a big Stephen King fan. My music tastes vary quite a bit. My favorite shows are Friends, Modern Family, Scandal, Law and Order SVU, The Blacklist, Louie, The Mindy Project, Madam Secretary, Chopped, The West Wing and Lost.

I love disaster movies like Armageddon, Deep Impact, The Day After Tomorrow and 2012. My favorite movies of all time are Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, Yours, Mine and Ours (the originals, not the remakes) and West Side Story. I have a huge amount of movie trivia floating around in my head. Probably taking up all the space algebra was supposed to go.
The six things I could never do without
My daily phone call with my mom
Lip balm
Hair brush
Pen and paper
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why stores insists on putting items I want on the top shelf?
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm usually a homebody on Friday nights since that is typically a stressful day at work for me. Saturday's are the nights I go out with friends for drinks or dinner.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I snort when I laugh. It's really attractive.

I've never seen or read anything from the Harry Potter series. Please don't hurt me.
You should message me if
You can get that item down from the top shelf for me.
