I'm tiny. I'm loud. I have a lot of thoughts and feelings. And I'm a nerdy gal who loves sports.

Um, but seriously? I guess I like to think of myself as pretty passionate, occasionally opinionated, and really into long, in-depth conversations about just about anything.

Oh, and the octopus is hands down my favorite animal. Absolutely the coolest.

At the moment I'm pursuing my Master's in English Literature while teaching freshmen composition. I think I might want to be a professor one day? But who knows. Right now the only plan is to be a student for the next forever. Yay learning!

I have a knack for reading people. I can tell a lot about someone from the first impression (so no pressure!). I also used to dabble in theater, so I'm a little bit of a performer as well :)

My height and my voice are what people usually notice when they first meet me. I'm a petite little thing, but my personality more than makes up for it.

I am an unashamed Dave Matthews Band fan. I've seen them seven times. This is just something you should know about me right off the bat. Otherwise my musical tastes are really eclectic. Everything from classic rock to 90s alternative to mash-ups (GirlTalk all day every day).

I also love pretty much every sports film that has ever been made. Rocky, Remember the Titans, The Natural. You name it, I've probably seen it. Other favorites include: American Beauty, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Cool-Hand Luke, and Paper Moon.

And nothing makes me happier than hunkering down for the evening with some 90s cartoons. Gotta love that Hey Arnold!

Listing favorite books would take the rest of my life, but tops are always: Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby, Catch-22, and Matilda. And I have to include the Harry Potter series. Because duh.

Music. I need it in order to work, to exercise, and really to do just about everything.
Chocolate. I am an addict.
My purple converse high-tops. I've had them since the 8th grade.

I don't know what it's like to NOT think. But mostly I think about the future, and all the homework/grading I should be doing.

Hanging with my grad school buds being nerd-a-licious and drinking some beers. (Trying not to get drunk, but sometimes these things can't be helped).

I used to be on medication for anxiety. Sometimes you just need a little extra help.
