I'm a student at the University of Akron, and originally from Wisconsin. I'm a huge sports fan, especially a fan of the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, and Wisconsin Badgers. I enjoy playing sports as well as watching, and analyzing.
I really enjoy discussing and arguing politics, and can do so for hours on end. While I can be a little shy at first, I quickly become more talkative and am easy to get to know.
I'm a fan of beer, especially IPA's and stouts, so I enjoy spending time in bars with a good beer selection.

I'm working towards my masters degree in Biomedical Engineering. I'd like to work in industry or at a start up, but also really enjoy teaching. With my free time, I'll enjoy reading, listening to music, or watching movies.

I'm a good learner and listener, so I tend to catch onto new things really quickly. Beyond that, I'm good with computers and technology.

I seem to really enjoy most music, ranging from post rock to country, hip hop, or pop. Some favorite artists or bands include Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Kanye West, The White Stripes, Lupe Fiasco, Streetlight Manifesto, Fleet Foxes, The National, The World Inferno Friendship Society, and Fun.. I'll try listening to just about any band or genre. I've recently been listening to more country music.

Overall, I appreciate absurd and well written comedies, or dystopian novels. My favorite books include A Confederacy of Dunces, Slaughterhouse Five, Cat's Cradle, A Clockwork Orange, and Brave New World. I've recently been reading the Millennium Trilogy, as well as some nonfiction, especially regarding politics. I'm currently reading Moral Politics, by George Lakoff.

Some of favorite movies include Little Miss Sunshine, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Dr. Strangelove, The Royal Tenenbaums, and I Love You, Man. As far as dramas or action movies are concerned, Children of Men The Social Network, and Goodbye Solo are some of my favorites. More recently, I really enjoyed the Tree of Life, Like Crazy, 50/50, Drive, The Descendants, and Moneyball. Aaron Sorkin is one of my favorite writers, while Darren Aronofsky and Jason Reitman are two of my favorite directors.

My favorite tv shows include 30 Rock, Community, Parks and Recreation, Archer, The League, and Modern Family. When I watch TV, I'm watching a specific show or a sports game. My favorite shows off the air include The West Wing, Arrested Development, and Friday Night Lights.

My favorite meal is a nice medium rare steak.
